Used JM for platinum wire for neuro implantable for many years. Much more consistent properties that other supplier we used. They also develop and experiment with novel combinations of materials to lower customers' costs.

Strengths: Very high quality precious metal wire with very consistent properties

Always go to them for platinum components. Pretty much the only ones that specialize in small precious metal parts for medical industry. They missed their promised delivery dates several times for my orders.

They have a large variety of parts on the shelf that we used while we waited for our custom ordered parts to arrive. These are very small parts that we could not find anywhere else with such customization.

Reliable vendor for metals and tubing for lab and other uses. We use these to develop products and improve on current products. The metal is consistent quality and reliable deliveries. The customer service group is very helpful..

We ordered a lot of material from JM. They have good quality that meets our specs. Good lot to lot consistency. They need to improve on their lead times. Customer service is responsive and knows their product.

Strengths: johnson Matthey is our current supplier and been using for my previous Co. Pt-Ir marker bands. During protoyping, they were a good supplier to have since they carry many sizes of tubing on hand.with a very good services and always on time.

JM has some of the best customer service i've encountered especially for such a large conglomerate. They are extremely helpful and supportive with excellent quality of products. This division deals primarily with medical components

I use them almost exclusively for my Pt/Ir. They offer great prices and high quality products. My only gripe is that they seem to run short on what should be OTS items

JM is a great source for Marker Bands. If they don't have your size they can make them for you. They also have Pt/W wire. Also a source to recycle your precious metal scraps.

They are the main source of platinum wire provider for manufacturing. They have high quality product. We won't use them for R&D due to longer lead time
