I've been dealing with Lenovo through my business for 10+ years both for PCs and via contract IT services. For the most part I've been happy with the services and products received. In a few instances they seem to drop the ball mostly trying to resolve the issue quickly but the "right solution" isn't always the easiest.

Strengths: Standardized PC solutions with plenty of options that can more or less cover most of what your business requires. Their contract technical support is typically spot on and quick to respond.

Needs to improve: If you have a custom application where you need "customized support" you might have an issue. We've had issues where we've had a motherboard failure and their goto solution was a new computer. A new system is always faster, but if you have data on the old system, this isn't the most ideal solution.

We primarily use lenovo thinkpad laptops for all business uses and are very satisfied with their products. I've personally been using them for business use since the IBM days and was a bit concerned when it moved to Lenovo but the quality has not diminished at all. Keyboards are still fantastic, laptops are super durable, and the peripherals, such as the docking ports are a necessity for businesses. Some employees are of course apple fans and complain about the boring look (we use mostly the T420 series), but with thinkpads ultralight x line, they are happy with those as well. Last twice as long as other laptops like dell and hp and the service has been great when we needed it (replaced keyboards a few times at no charge).

I've had a fairly decent experience dealing with Lenovo. Many of the notebooks I have purchased have been web direct and most of the laptops through the phone. The customer service has been satisfactory and their tech support works with you to get issues resolved in a timely manner.

Strengths: Ive been deploying Lenovo desktops and using their laptops for about 4 years. The laptops have performed great and are easy to order via the website. They have a pretty good live chat to answer any questions you might have when choosing between different products.

Needs to improve: The desktops that I have deployed do not stand out very much. My company had an agreement with them so we had to use them. Most standard desktops do not differ much these days but they weren't great in any way but also not bad in any way.

our company uses Lenovo's for our laptops. We dont always work in the office as we may meet some of our clients off-site as well as give the flexibility to work from home. We have roughly 20 laptops with model x200 which is a tablet. this is decently compact, very reliable as most of my employees have not had much problems with the software, functionality, etc. We chose Lenovo mainly for its durable reputation. That is not to say their customer service line via phone or online is very helpful. Their service is available 24 hours a day which is great. no complaints with this and will continue to use Lenovo laptops

I have had 3 Lenovo laptop computers now. The first one was solid and I had no problems. After IBM took over, my last 2 laptops have had all sorts of issues. Crashing. Not booting back up. If you read the reviews on the Lenovo several people have had these issues. For the price I think it should be a rock steady laptop.

I used these in 2 different industries. For R&D 3d modeling and design. And also for a photobooth company to run the booth.

Strengths: Power computing.

Needs to improve: Quality is not always the best. Not the best in terms of pricing.

Lenovo's customer service is excellent and noteworthy. If there was a hardware issue, they would assist in troubleshooting over the phone and also remote desktop. If the laptop did not meet our expectation, another laptop would be shipped out without any questions.

Strengths: Our company has had a great deal of experience with Lenovo laptops. These laptops are durable and cutting edge. We've purchased these laptops via the web and also thru our account representative. Their website is easy to use and navigate. Customization of the laptop was fairly easy. Shipping was fast and delivered on time.

Needs to improve: Nothing! We are satisfied!

When I worked as a manager at a small store, we would purchase laptops for all of our employees. The laptops that we would always purchase for our employees were Lenovo laptops, which are fast and efficient laptops. Lenovo has excellent customer service and make s the ordering of Laptops very fast and streamlined. They additionally have great prices on all of their laptops that are generally less than their competitors. I highly recommend them as the supplier of all your laptop products.

We have purchased numerous laptops from Lenovo. Their laptops are extremely durable and reliable. These specific laptops are used in our lab environment and are abused constantly. They continue to function properly without any specific maintenance, which is a time saver because the guys are always changing the tasks and the flexibility the laptop offers us is extremely valuable. I cannot say enough - the laptops from Lenovo continue to perform under all conditions. We will continue to purchase these specific laptops based on their reliability & durability.

We used to contract with IBM for all of our computing needs. The transition to Lenovo was seamless and there has not been a noticeable dropoff in quality. If anything, it has gotten better as computer technology has improved by leaps and bounds. They have consistently provided a high quality product, are always timely, and are great with fulfilling warranties. No issues whatsoever.

Strengths: Excellent product. Sturdy, stylish, consistent with the level of quality that was expected with IBM.

Needs to improve: No major issues

Lenovo (formerly IBM) has always striked me as a business computer which I am using it for. They are used in hospitals and lots businesses I've seen. I will continue to be a consumer of Lenovo for my business usage.

Needs to improve: I've purchased a Lenovo and I am overall satisfied but I must say the assembly of the product needs to be worked on. A few things I have found to be loose on my laptop.

We exclusively use Lenovo computers at work. I used several models within the last few years with mixed success. However, I believe the challenges I have faced are more associated with running design software on computers which were not built to support such programs. My most recent laptop is quite capable of running Solidworks and only gets bogged down when working on very large assemblies. Overall the computer does what I need it to do.

My office has been ordering from Lenovo for years now! Mainly buying PCs from them they have helped us order in bulk multiple times with little to no hassle at all. The customer service is amazing! Any time I have ever had a question they answer very promptly having employees full of knowledge of their products. I would highly recommend them to any business.

Needs to improve: Turn around time could be a little faster.

Lenovo has been able to continue the quality of the Thinkpad brand of laptops after its acquisition from IBM. I have been able to use the thinkpad laptop before and after and believe there has been minimal changes in quality and it remains an exceptional laptop for business use and high end computation needs. definitely not the cheapest laptops out there, but they are very well built with lots of capability

We have Lenovo Thinkpad laptops at the office. They are decent but Thinkpads were better when they used to be manufactured by IBM. Lenovo is a Chinese mfr and quality is not there. The power adapters are so heavy that it makes traveling a workout

Strengths: Products are great, and they assisted installing all my automotive diagnostics software prior to shipping all 50 units. I just shipped them the software and they took care of everything

Needs to improve: The turn around time for 50 units could have been better then 2 months.

Lenovo has great customer service reps and can provide you with great solutions for your office. Only downside is, I've gone through two of their laptops at work with crashed hard drives in the past.

Our company provide the Lenovo Thinkpad laptop and it's okay for running software that are not require a lot of memory. It's run so slow when used it for solidworks or autocad which require large memory.

Needs to improve: Not good when use for graphic software any (CAD)

I use a Lenovo IdeaPad for my consulting business and run everything on it from the Adobe Illustrator to Solidworks. The battery life is excellent and it is fairly light to carry on the plane, a big plus. I never liked the IBM thinkPad but Lenovo Rocks!

we use thinkpads at work and they have been very good laptops. i have used them before IBM sold their personal computing business off. Lenovo has done an excellent job since taking over the PC business with very good laptops
