We use Makita power hand tools in our facility. We do in house assembly of all of our medical devices. Makita power tools provides most of our hand tools that we use in our facility that we provide all of our techs with. We have had great success using these tools and have nothing but great things to say about them. They are robust, easy to use, and easy to repair. While we have not had to repair many tools, that is bound to happen the more you use them. Makita provides us an easy quick return service to have the tools serviced. They have an extremely wide selection of tools to use for varying sizes of devices that we are working or testing in the lab. Great company to work with and easy to deal with over the phone. I highly recommend.

I have had some minor issues with some of their product and when you contact there customer service they are very understanding and will replace the product with no run arounds. Its one call and thats it they will replace the product and provide you with a return box and stamp for you. Its great

Strengths: Makitas have a great selection of power tools that are compact and lightweight but still has more power then you need. We have quite a selection of makitas that we use for both our daily tasks and for special projects that require us to build new benches and frames.

Needs to improve: I think Makita tools are great, the customer service is good, and they also have a rebate program. I really have nothing bad to say about Makita.

I use a power drill manufactured by Makita in my lab wen I'm in need of a torque heavy drill for removing stripped screws from my dialysis machines, Makita power drills are extremely light in weight which makes them easy to grip for a long period of time (8 hours a day). they also come equipped with an led light on the end which is very convenient when im working in dim light areas and need to see into my machine. The drill bits are also very easy to swap in and out.

I have been using Makita power tools for over 10 years in professional and personal jobs. Around the house the makita tools are very powerful sometimes a little bit of overkill but dependable and reliable. I can use the same battery for a variety of products which is great and cost effective. Professionally I have used Makita tools on cars and they work very well. Reliable and no issues. They last a long time and I don't have to worry about them as much. I have use other tools but like the feel of Makita more over other options.

Makita makes great power tools that are light weight and easy to use. Great for long term use and for smaller projects in which you are limited in space. They last awhile on a single charge and are powerful. We haven't had too many issues using them in our manufacturing line. Makita offers a good warranty for their tools and makes the process easy to get replacements. Pricing is fair. We will continue to use their tools and I don't have any problem recommending them for multiple uses.

We have different kinds of hand power tools in my department. One of it is the Makita. Perfect for installing sub-assembly parts for our medical device. Battery can last up to 8 hours straight which is really reliable when it comes to longetivity of the usage of this product. Very light and handy but not that powerful when taking out stripped screws. Maybe adding more torque would be good for taking out stripped screws.

Makita’s cordless power drill is light weight, which is ideal for extended use with minimal fatigue. However, the light weight also seems to result in a decrease of overall equipment durability. I used their LXPH05Z cordless drill and it seemed to degrade after about a week of continuous use. Makita does have a 3 year warranty though, so it’s worth it to see if it can be replaced within that timeframe.

We currently carry Makita power drills on our assembly line. We are a medical device manufacturer specializing in dialysis machines. These power drills are very light weight easy to use and have great torque to tackle any job you throw at it. Not very expensive and there is an extensive list of various attachments and various bits.

We purchase Makita power tools; drills, cutters, grinders, etc., for numerous departments in our company: Field Service, R&D Engineering, Manufacturing, Reliability, Warehouse and Facilities. I have always found that customer service is more than willing to help with pricing, returns, large quantity orders, etc... A great company to work with - excellent tools.

We currently use Makitas power drills on our assembly line and rework stations. These are some if the best on the market in my opinion. For starters they are very light weight and generate a good amount of torque they are also very durable as well. The battery life is exceptionally good as well I full charge will last a long time.

We standardized our production floor with these because they not only look great, but they offer 21 different torque settings. They come with a built in flashlight, which is great if you're working in the dark, but outside of that I can't think of anything I would change. Overall a 5 star product.

we carry Makita drills at every work station in the department. the drills a lightweight and easy to use. it has an adjustable torque trigger for adjusting torque to remove screws. led light makes it easy to see into small dark corners of our machines. their price range is good.
