I try to avoid using adhesives whenever possible, but sometimes there just isn’t any other way. If you find yourself in that case, Master Bond is a good resource. Their knowledgeable and responsive staff is readily available to answer questions about their products and capable of suggesting the epoxy that may fit your application (it’s even their slogan!). The most important part is that since they are medical grade, they come with regulatory body appropriate documentation.

Needs to improve: I’m trying to think of one, but I really can’t, unless you count adhesives in general, but that’s not really Master Bond’s fault.

Master Bonds technical staff works closely with you to formulate the best adhesive for your application. This is different from Dymax and Loctite who sell adhesives that are already formulated.

Strengths: Master Bond provides a quality adhesive that is formulated to your specifications. The technical staff will work with you to identify the appropriate adhesive for your application. They will then formulate your custom adhesive and ship it out in only a few days. They are a good alternative to Dymax and Loctite

Needs to improve: Masterbond adhesives are custom order. They do not stock any adhesives that can be shipped immediately.

Our company sourced epoxy paste and adhesives from Master Bond to be used in lid sealing as an alternative to welding. We were new to this procedure and were hesitant at first. Master Bond helped us come up with a creative and effective solution to our design challenge and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Their customer service team was extremely helpful in guiding us through the selection process. We hope to work with Master Bond when the need arises and recommend this vendor to everyone!

I've ordered various adhesives from Master Bond. They have provided me a good alternative to Dymax products. They carry adhesives of different viscosities with varying grades of thermal resistance. I did not know their product line that well but the technical staff was able to recommend several adhesives for my application. I highly recommend them, good experience dealing with Master Bond...so far nothing to improve upon.

I use this to fix any broken parts from our medical machines such as, power supply, bottom cover, top cover and any sub-assembly parts from our dialysis machines. The only issues I have here is that it takes like almost two minutes for it to dry compare to other adhesives brand we have in our department.

I have used MasterBond epoxy on a number of projects. The bonds have been challenging, and the epoxy seemed to do well, considering. I would first suggest finding a better design that doesn't rely on epoxy, but if you have to go that way this is a reasonable choice.

Great source if you need an epoxy that is medical grade and compatible with EtO and Ebeam sterilization methods. Strength of cured epoxy is excellent. Great technical support when looking for epoxies to match product needs.

Masterbond epoxy has been a critical component of a specialized guidewire-like device. The 2-part epoxy seems easy enough to use, and not overly sensitive to small variations in the mix ratio. When you have to use Epoxy, Masterbond is a good choice.
