Mitutoyo provides quality calipers for our startup which we use to keep our precision assembly lines on pace. They provide accurate quotes and met their lead times, allowing us to accurately forecast our production lines. Customer service is top notch and their industry expertise is unrivaled. All star team that produces quality products. Though for such quality, it comes at a hefty price. Overall we were satisfied.

We use Mitutoyo instruments on our manufacturing floor, receiving inspection and R&D lab. The instruments are durable and very high quality. On the production floor the calipers and micrometers have SPC out ports for automated data collection into our SPC software. It is very user friendly and made SPC implementation very easy.

Strengths: Mitutoyo is the industry leader in dimensional metrology products. The manufacture high precision calipers, micrometers, a variety of gauges, laser mics, and instruments to measure just about anything.

Needs to improve: Expensive

We needed a thickness gauge to measure very small parts but the units that were available did not meet our application. The Sales Rep was able to modify one of the tools to meet our needs in a timely fashion

Strengths: Mitutoyo offers a wide array of digital and analog hand held measuring tools. Company reps are readily available to work with you in order to find the right tool for your needs

Needs to improve: Pricing for some items can get pretty expensive

Mitutoyo America are the measurement tool experts. We need exact measurements in our R&D department for new developments and precision is key. Fortunately, we have identified Mitutoyo as a key vendor that is able to consistently provide high quality and very precise measurement tools. The tools are also very easy to use, and everyone on our staff (non-engineers included) is able to use the tools and read them proficiently. Highly recommended.

Mitutoyo has some of the best measuring tools in the business. We currently carry the Mitutoyo hand held micrometer calipers in our facility for both inspection and specification reasons. Very accurate and dependable but be carefull one drop on the floor could damage or knock your equipment out of calibration and these things are definetly not cheap. All around its a great tool to have.

We contracted Mitutoyo Metrology Ctr. for gauges and calipers in our assembly line of medical devices. They're high quality and has made our manufacturing run more smoothly and efficiently. They offer competitive pricing and excellent customer service. They're easy to reach and offer realistic turnaround time. We've had a great experience working with them and will continue to do so. Can't beat their quality and service.

We carry their handheld micrometers in our R&D department and rework dept. They are essential for our repairs and calibration of our devices. They are very accurate and you can depend on these meters to give you accurate measurements.

Strengths: They have some of the best micrometers in the business.

Needs to improve: Their micrometers can be expensive plus they are very delicate if you drop it you can pretty much forget about the calibration.

I have used a lot of Mitutoyo calipers and snap gages and they seem to work as well as any digital caliper. I do find that the last digit is not to be trusted, and it implies a higher level of precision than may be reasonable. Their calipers are the standard on most medical device manufacturing floors, and the easy unit conversion is very handy.

Strengths: We purchase calipers and measuring gauges, to use in our manufacturing plant. We are very pleased with these devices, they are good quality,durable,and accurate for our measuring needs. There's a wide selection to order from, our orders are always accurate, and are shipped to us fast. The prices are competitive with quick turnarounds. A good company to do business with.

Mitutoyo is a great company to order items in bulk. All of their associates are very knowledgeable of all their products and shipping is very reliable. I use their guages on a regular basis at work and I have not had any problems with them yet.

We currently use Mitutoyo force gauges and calipers in our labs and production floor. Always precise and dependable. They are the best measuring tools out in the market in my opinion. They can be a little pricy but you get what you pay for with Mitutoyo.

i’ve used mitutoyo digital calipers and snap gauges for many years now at several different companies. they are reliable and can be calibrated multiple times without issue. there are some cheaper alternatives, but the extra price for a mitutoyo is worth it.

We've used Mitutoyo tools and have been very happy. They have very good sales representatives that can offer many options to fit your budget. They are well represented and are extremely helpful. Our rep was able to modify one of our digital snap gauges at a fair price. Very satisfied with there products

We use their Go/No-Go-Gauge to measure our heater tray from the top cover to make sure they are not too close and has enough space. by using this tools it provides us the accurate measurement and very easy and fast to use. We use this tools at work everyday and never had any problem.

I consistently have always used mitutoyo tools throughout my career (calipers, snap gages, etc) and have never had any issues with it. The quality of construction is of the highest bar and measurement precision as well.

We use their micrometer calipers on a daily in our lab. It's a great necessary tool to have in your arsenal if your doing a lot of engineering prototype work. Great for thickness verifications and precise millimeter measurements.

Needs to improve: Their micrometer calipers are very delicate. If you drop it more then likely it's gonna be damaged.

I have used their snap gauges, laser micrometers, calipers. They were all excellent quality, reliable, and accurate. We did have one that needed repair due to who knows what after 10 years of use, but they were able to fix and send it back to us within calibration. Highly recommended.
