Sorry, but Motorola two way radios are absolute junk! I just worked the order for a re-fit of out departments radios and were forced to accept Motorola radios. They have been a complete and total failure. We were forced to scrap all the previous batteries, holders and chargers, which were no longer compatible and had to purchase completely new units. Chargers were over $5,000 per bank charger and we needed to purchase 10 of them. Batteries were more expensive and do not last as long as previous ones. Many have already failed. Warranty replacement is non existent. Out of range communications is impossible.

Strengths: National supply chain. Large corporation

Needs to improve: Low quality batteries. Poor quality transmitters. Unreliable sound quality. Absolutely terrible to work with. No instruction manuals or user information.

Decent products, large company. They know they have close to a virtual monopoly.

Strengths: We contracted with Motorola Communications for our two way radios. With a recent change in bandwidth spacing, we were required to purchase all new radios for the entire department. I assisted with the contract. We were relatively limited as to what competitive companies we were allowed to use. In the end, Motorola was awarded the bid. Their new APX 7000 radios arrived to mixed reviews. The appear relatively rugged and well built.

Needs to improve: Motorola really has their customers over a barrel with limited features. With their new radios, the have eliminated 1/8 auxillary plugs for remote earpieces and microphones and now require a blue tooth mike combination. This forces our department to spend more then just a radio purchase and must now buy accessories as well. Each new radio requires a new battery system as well, so we must discard hundreds of perfectly good batteries and buy hundreds of replacement batteries. There is very limited re-useable items from the old system to the new, greatly increasing our total cost.

All in all there are better companies out there that are less expencive and higher quality!

Strengths: We have used a wide verity of motorola products from radios to smart phones their radios are amazing.

Needs to improve: Do not buy if you have a heavy finger or are prone to dropping your phone or radio as they are not durable enough to take day to day punishment. calling to get warranty was like pulling teeth with now pain killers i just wont do it ever again!

Our experience with Motorola has been a great one. Their account representatives were very helpful and friendly to our requests for communication devices. They were very knowledgeable with their products and assisted us in choosing the best possible product within our budget. We are pleased to have them as our vendor.

Strengths: We have purchased Motorola walkie talkies for our large warehouse. These devices have been durable and outstanding for us. Motorola has proven to us as a solid company with quality devices. We are pleased to have them as our vendor. Customer support was outstanding and easy to work with. Shipping was fast and delivered on time.

Needs to improve: The only thing I can fault Motorola for is not taking chances and evolving their products.

Good quality products, competitive prices,accurate quotes, quick turnarounds, fast delivery and set up, and a wide selection to choose from. Great customer and support service! Highly recommended!

Strengths: We contract with Motorola, for their walkie talkies and cell phones, that our employees carry with them and use through out the day for communication purposes, since our warehouses are so big, these products are perfect for the job! We buy them for a great price, and we were able to bundle ( cell phones and walkie talkies), and buy in large quantity. Great customer service, representatives did a great
job setting up our system, and in assisting the employees, when they first started to use the products. Fast delivery and set up..

We've used Motorola bar code scanners for inventory and tracking hardware in house. Haven't had any experience with other company scanners, but overall satisfied with the Motorola products. Have had a few units fail (battery compartment connectors needed to be replaced), but they have been good at either servicing or replacing defective units. After a few of the same problem, seems to perhaps be a quality control issue, but as long as they are keeping us going with service, we are overall satisfied with the products/service.

Strengths: Wide selection and ranges of products, multiple price tiers for single products

Needs to improve: Quality control

We have this scanner in our department and we use it for scanning our medical data's and disinfection form Compare to other brand scanner we have in our floor, this scanner responds slower. Sometimes, it does not respond at all for some reason. The quality is good and it is easy to use. I still prefer the other scanner we have over this brand.

Strengths: durable scanners, handy and easy to use, very useful product.

Needs to improve: responding time is slow.

My firm has been using strictly Motorola phones for over 5 years now! Something about the quality and designs Motorola has produced over the years has kept me away from other brand phones! Any time I have had an issue with a Motorola phone their customer service has always been right on it sending me a new phone free of charge! I would always recommend a Motorola phone to anyone or business!

As Human Resource Head, Motorola smartphones helps my job easier. The other products of Motorola such as scanner etc are very affordable and reliable. I recommended the products to all departments and been using it for more than 6 yrs now. The products will be delivered to you before the expected time with a very attractive presentation.

Always a pleasure to do business with. Just last week my rep came by for a visit and purchased 30 pizzas to feed my entire staff.

Strengths: For the past 6 years I have been using there vehicle mounted computers all 35 of my forklifts. They are easy to use, the design is very durable. The main thing I was worried about was getting the computers damaged. To date I can gladly report 0 damages!

This company is one of our major supplier they are very reliable on supplying us quality products.
They have excellent customer service that you can rely on like explaining your products informations or answer question.
Ordering process is excellent the way they hanlde there order is pretty accurate. Over all experience was absolutely excellent

we have a few of their barcode scanners in or production department to scan in all of our dialysis machines coming in and going out. we also use them to scan in all hardware such as screws, nuts, bolts, washer, etc. they help us keep our department very organized.

I use Motorola bar code scanner everyday to scan in machines that have come from the field and need to be repaired or upgraded wnd the bar code scanner never lets me down. Very durable and reliable.
