MTD Micro Molding Expands Tooling and Molding Departments

CHARLTON, MA - (April 11, 2016) - MTD Micro Molding invests in additional capacity in their in-house tooling and molding departments with the purchase of new equipment and upgrades. The molding department will be adding two 20-ton Sodick molding presses with ancillary equipment to the existing ISO Class 8 cleanrooms, including full automation and in-line inspection.

History

MTD Micro Molding is the only U.S. company 100% dedicated to micro molding. Founded in 1972 as Miniature Tool & Die, Inc., by Richard Tully, MTD quickly established itself as a leading manufacturer of miniature connector molds for the electronics industry.
