we use this company for the excavating of our site. all of their employees are very professional, licensed/trained and have many years of experience. they do work with either companies or even residential clients as well. they do charge only hourly rates and not a flat rate for any of their services. their rates will vary depending on the difficulty of the job but either way, the rates are very reasonable. this is a business located in the peninsula and only work around the surrounding locations. if your business is located in the north,east or south bay, i would contact them first to see if they are able to do the work in those locations.

Strengths: licensed/insured company, competitive hourly rates, services include excavating, demolition, drilling, drainage, grading, concrete breaking. great for small or larger jobs

We were building a new facility and decided to build an underground parking garage for a limited 2 acre site. Nor Cal Construction was a great contractor to use. We bid out the job to 4 other groups and they were not the lowest (nor the highest) but had a very detailed quote and timeline. They were able to excavate our site about 40 feet deep in a fast amount of time. They did a good job as the concrete pourers commented on how evenly excavated the site was. Best of all, on time and on budget!

Exceptional service. High level of skill and expertise

Strengths: Norcal Construction provides contract services for soils engineering, foundation and excavation in commercial and residential construction. Bruce Craik, the owner of the business is meticulous in his planning and prep work. He thoroughly studies the working drawings and comes up with a super high quality work plan. He understands what needs to be accomplished and his work is very neat. Great guy and crew. They have what ever equipment is needed for the job.

Bruce and Jason do awesome work. In addition to doing some of the most incredible excavation work I've seen hanging off the side of a steep hillside, Bruce maintains one of the cleanest and most organized construction sites I've been on. Responsive and cost conscience Nor Cal will be my first choice for excavation. If Bruce tells you it will be done by a certain time, you count on it being done on time or early.
