Parata Systems

Our pharmacy automation system is Parata. It holds all our our fast moving medications. some pros about these machine is its ability to hold a lot of inventory, easy to load, clean, the machines is quiet and does not give out too much heat. some cons is when there is a problem with the machine, it takes a long time to fix and it is not always easy to fix. we usually have to call their customer service team and have them walk us through the issue. even then, they usually have to send a service person in to fix the problem which can be a huge setback in our busy pharmacy. when the system works, it works well, when something goes wrong, it can become a huge issue requiring their service people to come in to fix

Strengths: holds large inventory

our previous pharmacy had a parata system. the machine was huge and fit in our previous location. the machine was fast, fit a high volume of medications. Parata also installed everything for us and did a few hours of training for our staff. they also provide technical support and field assistance which came handy bc their system would have issues often.

Strengths: fast and holds a large volume

Needs to improve: a lot of mechanical issues

Parata has been helping us for quite some time now! They have also been very easy to work with providing great customer service! Highly recommend them!
