PFM Engineering

we were referred to PFM by a neighboring company for finite element stress analysis. PFM has been a vendor for my friends company for years doing metal analysis and since we needed them for a different type of analysis, i was a bit concerned but once we met with 2 of their engineers, they were able to give our staff a lot of ease of mind. their engineers were very knowledgeable, they finished our projects one time and the end result was high quality. we will definitely keep PFM as one of our analysis vendors

We reached out to PFM as they were referred to us as a quality engineering firm that cut do wonders for precision/laser cutting. We met with Andy and his expertise immediately put us at ease. He offered us a tremendous amount of insight and introduced solutions that proved quite cost effective. Customer service great as he kept us updated throughout. Needs to improve: reliability

We have used PFM as a consulting service to develop equipment for nitinol processing and for laser cutting of hypotubes. Andy is keen and knowledgeable about manufacturing processing, but the equipment developed is more prototype-like systems, the difference being the lack of reliable/sustainable, components intended for long-term production use. Despite this, PFM did setup a good framework for in-house manufacturing.

Exceptional service and I would recommend without question.

Strengths: Andy is a down to earth guy that listens to your goals and needs. He has a wealth of material science knowledge and runs a very organized shop. He can custom build a laser cutter for you for just about any purpose. Turn around time is decent for high volumes and prices are reasonable.

Needs to improve: High volume orders can take awhile but yield is good.
