The customer support by the company has been exceptional. Working in R&D, they have been incredibly supportive in providing a number of samples to address some initial evaluations of concepts i had. They have an array of materials that I was quickly able to get samples of and try out. Unfortunately, progress halted before proceeding to anything more in volume, but the customer support has remained supportive and as an engineer, it does hold weight to know the type of support provided as well as getting quality samples indicative of their product.

Mostly available, changes in management over last couple years has affected customer service.
Strengths: Pricing, somehow they most always seem to just underbid their direct competitors.
Needs to improve: Attention to detail! A couple times this last year, important details like material certs and grade of material. Certs were not provided without notifying us and the grade of material was incorrect.
excellent vendor to look for stock materials of items such as acrylic sheets. they have a large selection of various polymers and final components. their customer sales rep is also very helpful and responsive and has been very helpful on some projects of mine.

Port Plastics is very proficient in extrusions. Before placing an order, Port provided samples for feasibility studies. Port is able to extrude a variety of material with high quality and tight tolerances

Our R&D consistantly orders the polycarbonate raw plastic sheets with colors. used for developing boxes for our release systems for microcoils in medical neurology use. Always good quality plastics.
