Quality EDM Inc

Quality EDM struggles to meet your specification requirements. I will never use them again for devices that required tight tolerances. I gave EDM two chances to machine a piece. The first time I told them which specs were off. They were very friendly and offered to have the part re-machined at no extra cost. however, i was surprised that the second part they machined for me was even worse then the first. They are a nice group of people over there but they lack the attention to detail required for devices that need to meet tight spec requirements such as medical devices. I'm not sure if it is their machining equipment that needs calibration over there but they can not reproduce products reliably. Stay away if you are in the medical device industry.

Quality EDM: Perhaps they forgot to put the "not" in front of their name, but the product coming out of Quality EDM has everything but quality. I gave them a rather simple tool to machine, but when I received it back, the specifications weren't met at all. They said they would remake it for me, which I thought was great, but I was only further disappointed when the replacement part was even worse than the original! STAY AWAY unless you won't to throw your company's money down the drain.

My start up used Quality EDM for several parts that were highly specialized and in turn required high attention to detail to meet the unique specifications. Granted the job was very difficult, however the results were extremely lack luster. They met the bare minimum requirements of the part, but completely omitted all the key important details. In the end we had to go with another vendor to redo the project. Price was cheap, but you get what you pay for. And they were late on delivery as well. Go with someone else.

Needs to improve: Attention to detail, end product, meeting deadlines

i've had a few parts made that required high attention to detail and specifications. Definitely a challenging part. The results from them weren't that great. Would have preferred not to waste the time and effort if i knew the challenge to meet the detailed requirements of my part would not have been met. price was good though, but not worth the compromise for my needs

My experience with with quality EDM is a roller coaster, at times the shop can go a day with out complaining bout the machine shops we have ordered from Quality EDM, and some days not so good. They have decent stuff, but I think Its time to find a new vendor for my team.

Strengths: Website is real easy to use, buying products and talking to a staff member is always smooth.

Needs to improve: The quality isn't so great, their staff doesn't promise anything. The price could be better for what they are giving us.

They have always done great work for me! Their machine shop is one of the best arounds! I have never ran into any problems with them! Using only the highest grade products! The customer service makes you feel like your home! GREAT PEOPLE!
