I have used SMC to supply molded polycarb components. Their quality control is excellent, Their expertise is in what they call Scientific molding, where molding parameters are optimized based on in-process tests. They have soft tooling capabilities to develop prototype components, but the leadtimes can be long.
Their technical support was excellent. We had to develop components that were compatible with ultrasonic welding. They were able to provide us an ideal component design,which we took during the development stage.
