SMC Pneumatics

I have used their air cylinders for pick-and-place systems. The pneumatic cylinders are reliable with minimal maintenance. The in/out positions were consistent enough to pick-and-place components within a few thousandth of an inch. SMC's quality is excellent and highly recommended if you need precise positioning and reliable air cylinders. Their prices however are high, but the quality is worth it for reliable and repeatable production use.

We purchased custom connectors from SMC Pneumatics to improve current designs and develop new product. They perform really great on are devices and has never failed the testing process. If you need something quick and off the shelve, SMC is your place. The shipping is fast and very affordable products. Their customer service is also superior and will help you find what you need.

The sliding platform tables are key components for our workstations on the MFG floor in our clean room. The sliding platforms are used for scope precise movements and for computer station movement within stations. The operators are in more ergo positions with the sliding platforms.

Needs to improve: Expensive and long leadtimes mean good planning fot this supplier is required

We buy the one touch fittings and actuators from them. Good quality and everything works together well.

Strengths: Lots of product. One-touch fittings. Customer service is good. They have 3d cad models available for download.

Needs to improve: Not the best price.

I use there products to build test automation fixtures. The parts are very durable and high quality
