I recently managed the contract for our two field offices to be converted to solar. We selected Solar City due to size of the company, expected long term service and local headquarters. They job was performed as requested and with minimal headache. The inverters and panels appear to be decent quality, but cannot vouch for their long term durability. Standard roof mount racks. Cannot do custom installations or tracking systems.
Strengths: For a large corporation, they are reasonable to deal with. We do business in the same locale as the corporate head quarters, so this may be a factor in the quality of the company. We negotiated a contract for solar panel installation at two of our field offices. Decent sized crew, arrived as promised and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. Clean up was adequate.
Needs to improve: Not cheap. I believe the source Chinese panels, so potentially lower quality. Do not seem good with custom or outside the box systems.
We have purchased solar panels through solar city to use to allow us to keep or power bill down while using renewable power. When we purchase Solar City products, they come at a make a custom estimate for what the project will be, and then they plan your product from there on accordingly. They are truly great at customer service and in house expertise and really do help you with anything a customer would need. They install the panels very fast, and make sure they are up and running within a few weeks. The only negative thing I have found is that panels have a high price. Other tan that, I highly highly recommend them for solar panels.

we contracted our solar panel work to solar city from numerous recommendations from other small business owners we know. the technology they use is innovative and state-of-the-art. their design is very sleek as i have seen other solar panels on other roofs that look clunky and distracting. since using solar city, there has been a tremendous amount of savings for our company although the initial investment to use solar city and installment was very pricey. they have an in-house team and local installers that take care of the project from the beginning steps to the final set up.

Our company is looking to invest heavily in solar panel installations to increase sustainable energy and take advantage of various tax benefits. The people at solar city are very knowledgeable about all the benefits to businesses as they appear to have extensive experience guiding companies through solar implementation. The project and product that are being presented by solar city is very well thought out, and the installation, management, service, and financing plans have our company heading in their direction. Would recommend if your company is looking to go into solar installations as many companies are.

Good quality solar panels, quick installation, great customer service, representatives are very professional, attentive,very polite, and they're always available to answer any questions we might have.. Accurate quotes, quick turnaround times, and quick installation. They are expensive, but the results you get are well worth it, our power bill has dropped dramatically, so low, it's unbelievable! A great company to do business with, I highly recommend it!

Our company is currently for expansion right now and the president assigned me to deal with different contractors with different recommendations for solar panel. Most of them recommended the Solar City. the products are truly great and their service is excellent. They installed the panels very fast, and make sure they are up and running within a few weeks. Noticeable saves thousands bills in our company.

We now have been recently contracting with Solar city for our building, we have had thought about this as a business for year now. Solar city has such a good customer service line, they helped us blueprint out the solar panels and how we were gonna install them. Very high quality and durable products. Check them out!

If your company has a large rooftop, you could be saving a lot of money on energy by using placing an array of solar panels in that unused space. Reduce your company's carbon footprint, reduce their costs, and go green.
