Sony Electronics Inc

Outside of the playstation franchise, i have found most of sony products below my expectations these days. I really want to love their products, but they have fallen a long way off from their peak of the 80s for sure. computers: laptops i honestly can't stand. they came out with the first slim laptops and best looking ones, but you still had to contend with the crappy preloaded bloatware and all that other soldered on hardware crap. at least apple made their products not only look good, but also not annoy their customers
tvs: they aren't bad, but i have felt you did pay a slight premium for the sony name. just opened the door for better products to come out from samsung, etc which are putting out some some sets these days.
audio: they have always been a mainstream audio company. neither here nor there, but in my opinion very good bang for the buck.
i still get sony products, but these days have so many options and good quality products, its not as easy a no-brainer as it used to be just to buy a sony. a bit sad, because i will always have a spot in my heart for sony and all the awesome experiences they provided for me as a child.

Needs to improve: definitely not the sony of when i was a kid anymore.....

Sony electronics Inc is the company we used for the electronic components and sony devices in our company. the components are really high quality as well as the devices that our company uses on our work. We had fun using them because it is so user friendly and high grade items. Their products are so reliable and dependable to its usage. Their company is so competitive to the other brands in which they give quality services to their consumers. Delivery is on time and no problem at all. Customer service are friendly and nice that is helpful to our concerns. Pricing are in reasonable price and sometimes can be seen that they had promos on their informative website. Overall their products have huge selection and can be chosen regarding to the work you had. Great quality and service I highly recommend this.

Needs to improve:

Customer service was excellent in trying to resolve some of my problems with laptops. They were sympathetic and apologetic. I still would have liked to try to resolve it over the phone but they insisted that the laptop be sent in.

Strengths: Excellent and innovative products. Their 4K tv's have an unbelievable picture with an excellent quality. Sony has always been a reputable company that thrives on leading the way with new technology.

Needs to improve: Their laptop quality have been lacking at times. I've had several laptops within my company break with poor customer support. They have all asked that the laptop be sent back for repair. None of which could be fixed over the phone.

My office has been using sony products for years, most of our electronics are sony made. Computers to our office TV. Very high quality products. Never had any major problems that stopped us from doing our work. We had one small problem, but was fixed immediatley. Called the customer service line, and they sent in a IT right away and fixed it with in a hour. Would reccomend this company to anyone with a small or big business they needs electronics to do their job.

Our company uses several sony products, including storage devices and batteries, as well as larger items such as LED displays for TV,computer, and server systems. Many like the name brand of the company, however many of the products carry a high cost compared to other competitors and the quality of others has definitely caught up over the years. However, sony is still very good at what they do, and we will continue to use their products, especially media storage and optical drives.

When we put up a business, we contacted Sony Electronics, Inc. and we find out that they engages in the research and development, design, engineering, manufacture, marketing, distribution, sale, and service of audio/video electronics and information technology products for consumer and professional markets. They offers all the needs of every electronics company like us. They sells its products through its retail stores and online; and through dealers. No doubt of their quality

Strengths: A diversified global company at the forefront of technological innovation and entertainment. Trusted Quality. Great Design, Competitive and reliable product.

Needs to improve: none

We have ordered many products from Sony to keep our office running smoothly and most if not all their products are still working as well as they did when we first acquired them.

Strengths: Very large and high quality selection of products at reasonable prices. Good Customer service and are willing to work to time constraints.

Needs to improve: Prices may be on the high side for some products, Sony is unwilling to budge on some wholesale item type transactions.

A lot of the Sony products now are definitely not as well made as they use to be. Sony was the industry standard in quality products, but that is not the case anymore. Especially their TVs which they only make the chips and now receive most of their parts from Vizio.

Needs to improve: Products have definitely fallen off and not where it use to be.

Our lab currently uses sony cameras in our facility on daily bases, we often need to take photos of certain projects to view our work and it really gives great quality pictures and we are very pleased with that 100% ,also we never have any issues with our sony equipment .

Needs to improve: No weaknesses

They make some of the projectors and computer peripherals that we use at work. Obviously the quality is there, and I have a great feeling that the bulk deals are out of this world. I recommend Sony both personally and commercially.

Strengths: Not only is their price spot on for their quality of product, they're products are the most dependable electronics I've encountered.

Needs to improve: N/A

At my job we take training courses online and for these we use sony headphones to hear the videos and if anything went wrong Sony would replace them.

Strengths: Sony has a wide range of electronics to choose from and have been a household name as far back as I can remember.

Needs to improve: Sony is becoming outdated and past up by other better brands.

My firm has been using Sony Electronics for years now! We have never ran into any problems!! The quality on our laptops has always been very durable and long lasting. My current camera is a Sony Cybershot which has helped me put great quality pictures up on our website.

Strengths: Very well made product!! Always fine designs!!

Needs to improve: Amount of Sony stores.

We bought our sales group Sony laptops at their request. They were solid laptop for about a year and they all began getting blue screens right around the same time. Luckily they were under warranty and we were able to get them repaired. Good for Sony.

I have had no issues with lenono ThinkPad product.

Strengths: At work, I use Sony's line of lenovo ThinkPad line of laptop computer. Hardware is great for the construction job site trailer.

Needs to improve: I've been using the lenovo ThinkPad for about a year in the construction industry and no problems yet. With that said, the screen they use could use a higher resolution.

Using their optical drives and media has been a very pleasant experience. The premium payed for this name brand is well worth it. Dealings with customer support was simple and efficient.

Strengths: High quality manufacture of computer components and optical media

Needs to improve: Expensive, not as innovative against competitors as it was in the past

using projectors, digital versatile disc, and many other products I use in order to further the company. they make the highest quality in products and have excellent service

Strengths: they have great products for project management, development and presentations easy ways to plan meeting to focus on the future of our company

Strengths: We utilize Sony professional camera's for testing shoots. The camera's are extremely high quality and lightweight compared to other professional camera's. The drawbacks are that the camera's are a bit too clear and can show everyone's wrinkles and flaws. they are also expensive.

Needs to improve: expensive equipment.

I am still devoted to their products. For example, for a small sound system in the office we have their single unit speaker that connects by blue tooth to iPhone, iPad as a music source. Awesome sound.

Strengths: They have a tremendous history of great TVs.

Strengths: some of my coworkers have sony laptops i had one as well. they are ok but not the best anymore

Needs to improve: they don't have the best qulity like 4 years ago. and they are way more expencive then other better brands.

Strengths: I have used Sony Lenovo products at work. Small architect makes it really appealing in the office environment. I personally own a digital camera too. Have not had any issues. Great product line.
