I have used many of their door and home improvement hardware with no issues.
Strengths: affordable hardware.
Needs to improve: Some of the low priced door hardware have plastic internal parts. Not sure if this is bad or not!
Used Kwikset and Baldwin door hardware on remodels with good results. Most of their door hardware can be re-keyed by you.
Strengths: Spectrum has wide variety of products and hardware.
Needs to improve: None I can think of.
