Not ideal for start-up companies.
Strengths: Provided thermoformed blister trays for manufacturing. They are good when you get to large volumes.
Needs to improve: Customer Service needs some work, they don't hide the fact that they treat larger customers better than smaller ones. Their prices are more expensive than most of their competitors. Not open to quality suggestions by customers.
The company has been in business for a long time and so has developed extensive expertise in its field and a large line of products.
Strengths: Stephen Gould's strengths are its knowledgeable sales representatives and fast responses to requests. The sales representative I worked with understood my packaging needs thoroughly and was very aware of the various Stephen Gould product offerings and helped me understand the options. He also responded promptly to emails and phone calls whenever questions arose.
Needs to improve: The prices offered by Stephen Gould were higher than competitors.
In terms of a packagin program and presenting their products they are really good. Turn around time is decent
Strengths: They are a big company with many sales rep. They generally work with most big named companies. Dependable.
Needs to improve: Since they are so big, they usually have higher overheads and thus their costs are higher. They also have lots of other fees, warehousing, JIT release,, etc
There are lot of thermoforming companies out there, so please verify the price before you bring Stephen on board!

Needs to improve: 1. Price too high 2. Sales people try to "sell" their services as if they have the monopoly of the product. 3. Sales people are rude and rough in their discussions.
Exceptional service with packaging material. They were relatively cheaper and reliable. Excellent customer support.
Strengths: Excellent quality packaging boxes and shelf cartons. We went to them as a relatively cheaper supplier for our packaging material, and they delivered well. Easy to work with.
