This vendor suits our needs in terms of price. As a backup internet connection, we were satisfactorily please, but when we had to switch to it, the speed was less than desireable.
Strengths: XO communication is the vendor we chose for our redundant T1 internet service provider for several of our offices. The technical part of the installation went very well in all 3 offices. The technician was pretty knowledgeable with our inhouse cisco gateways.
Needs to improve: They do not own the fiber, but instead is a leasee and reseller. One of our offices took 3 months for the coordination with the owning ISP to be sorted out and for the installation to start. They could work better with their partners.

our company uses this telecommunications company as our IT technology. they provide managed services and converged Internet Protocol network services that combine voice, Internet access, and private data networking. XO delivers services through a mix of fiber-based Ethernet and Ethernet over Copper which makes the speed very fast. they also have external network-to-network interface agreements with traditional carriers and cable companies in case there is a backup so the technology is always working
Strengths: telecommunication, internet protocol, private data processing, great for small to medium sized companies
