First shop we go to for quick turn plating and polishing. -Expedite Precision Works

Strengths: Plating, Ano, Electro polish.
I think they have another division that does coatings.

Always solid customer service, rarely have I needed hardware they didn't have on hand.

Strengths: Wide selection of hardware and the customer service to handle it.
Same day will call, and certs for their products.

Needs to improve: None to speak of.

McMaster-Carr - When it positively, absolutly, has to be there overnight!

Never a problem with their service. You can always trust what you read on their site.

Strengths: They have almost anything you need for manufacturing.
Great website, easy to order account set-up is a breeze.
Always overnight, love it.

Needs to improve: Sometimes wish there was more info on product detail, but you can always call and talk with tech service.

When my other vendors can't get it, Interstate usually can but not same day.

Strengths: Knowledgeable sales people, good customer service and great website.

Needs to improve: I wouldn't say weaknesses, but I wish their warehouse was closer and their quotes are usually competitive with their direct competitor's.

Mostly available, changes in management over last couple years has affected customer service.

Strengths: Pricing, somehow they most always seem to just underbid their direct competitors.

Needs to improve: Attention to detail! A couple times this last year, important details like material certs and grade of material. Certs were not provided without notifying us and the grade of material was incorrect.
