Avnet's staff is very responsive to any requests. They also make sure that I stay informed with the newest technology trends. Their Engineering team is a great resource for any company.

Strengths: Avnet is one of the better electronic components distributor. Their customer service and support team is second to none. They are always very helpful with helping me determine appropriate component for my projects.

My experience with Samtec has been very positive. The sales representative is very helpful with helping to find appropriate connectors to your needs. I often order rapid sample requests and they are delivered next day. Great Service!

Strengths: Samtec is one of the better connector supplier out there. They carry a huge array of various connector options. They offer free next da delivery of samples which is great when working on new prototypes. They are also willing to customize any of their designs to your specific needs.

Needs to improve: Sometimes they are out of stock on certain connectors.

I often use Newark to find various electronic components, they carry large stocks of various parts.
Their service engineers helped me to locate some connectors when I specified what I was looking for. They were very helpful.

Strengths: Great source for elctronic components. Good prices and fast shipping.

Ordered computer and some additional components. The components worked separately but when connected to the system they failed to power up. Customer service and engineering team was very unresponisve.

Strengths: Dtx offers a variatey of custom and off the shelf computer products.

Needs to improve: Very poor customer service. Long lead times and unresponsive staff.

Great experience with Marathon Power extremely knowledgeable staff was able to match me with a great UPS unit for my application. Did not try to over-sell me and provided me with a great product.

Strengths: Marathon Power is a superior supplier of uninterruptible power supplies.

Overall great experience, I have been ordering components from mouser for years. Fast service and fair prices combined with huge stock of hard to find parts.

Strengths: Great source for electronic components ranging from connectors, passives to advance semiconductors.

Needs to improve: Sometimes pricing on less popular items is not too competitive.

I always use Arrow’s expertise when I’m looking for new technology. They are able to let me know which components fit my needs and are always willing to provide samples for my prototypes.

Freescale representatives are always available and ready to help.
Engineering support is great and extremely helpful.

Strengths: Great semiconductor products. Superior electronics knowledge for various applications.

Needs to improve: Some of their products get obsoleted fairly quickly.

Murietta Circuits is a great choice for rapid prototyping of PCB boards with assembly.
They have great manufacturing capabilities and they use their own Design for Manufacturing software which helps greatly with getting the prototypes correct.

Strengths: PCB manufacturing and PCB Assembly. Quick turnarounds and knowledgeable staff.

Needs to improve: Sometimes requesting a quote can take more than 24 hours.

Digi-Key offers a multiple of different components with next day shipping, never had any issues with correctness of my orders, even when I was ordering 100's of various parts.

Strengths: In my opinion Digi-Key has one of the most comprehensive database of electronic components.
Whenever I start a new project and am looking for parts ranging from passive components to more complex semiconductors I start my search with digi-key.

Needs to improve: On a few occasions RoHS compilant indication on their database was not correct.
