We;ve used Ametek primarily for their relays. These relays are very solid in design and perform with high reliability. Ametek has provided great technical support. Customer service returns calls promptly and make sure you are satisfied with their product.

They supply wonderful equipment that is very reliable and durable that is used every day. Their testing equipment are what we needed. They are a both within our budget and good quality. AMETEK is straight forward and simple.

I have used several models of Ametek handheld force gages. They seem to be consistent and re-calibrate every time. The ones I have aren't as feature-filled as some competitors, but they work for our purposes.

If you’re not doing anything fancy, Chatillon is a good alternative to the more expensive MTS and Instron mechanical testers. As with all testers, you can control speed and distance, even some very simple cycles, if necessary.

We used the 5 micron Ametek filters in some of our installations. They are a great product. They passed all of our filter qualification testing that made sure the filters met the 5 micron criteria.

Our business has used Ametek mainly for relay and equipment for instrumentation needs. Their equipment is reliable and meets our customer expectations. Their customer service seems that it could be better.

Good staff, wide selection of force gauges to fit our needs. Accessories were recommended to us for test application
Strengths: Wide selection of Chatillon Force gauges and other load cells; good communication and quick turnaround for in stock items

We use Amex when we need some of our parts to be anodized! Quick turnaround and excellent staff!!

Load cells have been excellent in their performance although i would like to see more in data acquisition and capabilities with the load cells.

AMETEK Measuremet testing systems is another option if you don’t want to use MTS or Instron testing systems.
