Used them to coat neurovascular medical catheters. Contract minimums were excessive - but a good coating.

Strengths: Vendor of coating and inspection technology. The last time I used them , they only did the processes in their cleanrooms and were not willing to share some steps.

Needs to improve: Contract terms (i.e. royalties) can be excessive. Not great to negotiate with, especially after already validating with their coating.

I used AST when I was looking for a coating that would add a tacky surface to nylon tubing. I was on the phone with the owner for a long time trying to come up with a solution. When it was all said and done, we got several different iterations of coated tubing. Excellent service and capabilities
