We use Confirmd mainly for their transformation temperature testing. Nitinol-based testing is in their area of expertise. What we like about this company's data presentation is that they do not just provide you with the data from the test but they have a specific team dedicated to help you analyze your results and what it means in relation to our product. because we are a smaller company, we do not have an analyst team dedicated to understanding data so this service offered by Confirmd was valuable. We have worked with their team multiple times in collecting data and analyzing the information as a team effort. all our experience with Confirmd as been positive and enriching. Because they too are a smaller company, you do get that personal attention that is lacking in larger vendors with thousands of clients. We did reach out to Confirmd for a custom testing production for one of our medical devices. The test was not as specific as we wanted due to their limitations so that would be the only fault in their capability. otherwise, i would highly recommend this as your next testing vendor.

Strengths: expertise in Nitinol-based medical device, this company is more than just a test data driver, they do provide comprehensive technical expertise. Local company that has served our company for man years, was also highly recommend by our other vendors. If you require custom test development, Confirmd will help to develop a testing procedure that fits your requirement.

Needs to improve: Mainly limited to corrosion, fatigue and temperature testing. They do perform custom testing but know that this is still limited. price is fair

We have used confirmd as a vendor for years and we usually only consult them when we are stuck and need another outsiders perspective and expertise. These guys are extremely good at what they do. They have been able to solve quality issues we have not been able to solve. They work very quickly and get the job done in a timely manner. Their customer staff is very knowledgaeable, friendly, and easy to get to work with. I have no issues recommending them for others to use. They are great to work with and we will continue to use them as a vendor.

We have used confirmd's services many times to provide material testing. We are set to release 3 new medical device products this year and confirmd is helping us reach that goal.They have a great staff that are very capable and do a great job with the testing and analysis. Plus they are local which is great.

Strengths: Great place for testing of your devices. The staff is also great at helping you get the best possible test results possible. Verb friendly and knowledgable plus they are located in the Bay Area.

Needs to improve: Not much to complain about I like the fact that they are a local Bay Area company.

We have turned to Confirmd many times to provide material testing such as corrosion and fatigue. They have a staff of PhDs that are very capable and provide very clear explanations of the testing and analysis. They recently helped us with problems we were having related to copper dissolution and helped us implement process changes to address the problem.

Strengths: Confirmd provides expert materials analysis and characterization of variety of implantable alloys but specialized in NiTi.

Needs to improve: They can get very busy at times so you need to plan way ahead to get on their calendar.

We have 3 new products being introduced to the market in the coming year. Confirmd has been an essential part of our process to ensure that these new medical devices are able to with stand the daily vigorish use from our patients. Our company is comfortable and pleased with the service confirmd provides.

Strengths: Great customer service and a great testing facility

Needs to improve: You must schedule testing time well in advance because of the fact they have a pretty small crew and a large volume of work.

I've had the great pleasure of working with Jim and his staff on a new nitinol implant a couple years ago. They run lean over there, so scheduling could take a little juggling, but their work is above par. They helped us develop fixtures to secure our device during mechanical testing as well as execute the testing on equipment we didn't have in house.

An additional set of eyes often adds new value to our processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.The staff at Confirmd is superb with vast topical industry expertise. Their customer and client interaction was top notch and resulted in outstanding data analysis. Will work with them again.

Strengths: Recently our facility used this company to test our electrical pulse units for our medical devices. They are great to work with and will be definitely continue to do so. They are knowledgeable and their staff is great, quick, and reliable.

Confirmd helps us test many of our new materials and component prototypes. We're bring 3 new products in-house in the new few years and they've been helping us with extensive testing to optimize and possibly improve the products before they even hit the assembly. Top notch stuff

We use this firm for testing of our electrical pulse unit for medical devices as well as other devices we manufacture. The reliability in the testing process this high and the output is high. We have confidence in this firm.

Confirmd provides a variety of test services required in the development and approval of nitinol implants for human use, including corrosion, durability/life testing, Af testing, etc. Their substantial knowledge of nitinol is a tremendous asset to any nitinol related project team.

JIm and team are knowledgeable and experienced. They can test fatigue test stents, perform corrosion testing and provide FEA analysis. We've used ConfirMD testing and reports in a number of FDA submissions with no issues.

They have a nice small staff to work with which makes it difficult to schedule a time to meet. However, the timing juggle is worth it. they are very well versed in mechanical testing.
