Have used General Foundry Service over the last few years for our casting needs. Their process is a lower cost and a good way to keep the product within price constraints. Their staff really understands engineering, manufacturing and quality needs along with operations and able to work seamlessly overall departments. I highly recommend them for any casting needs.

Strengths: Contacted General Foundry Service for the expertise in design and tooling. We needed a customized solution to our existing graphic laminated product. By working with our R&D department we were able to take our existing product(s) and redesign the parts to meet the specific process requirements for the casting. The staff keep us informed every step of the way, so there were no surprises when it came time for delivery of the product.

Molding long thin Zn parts for medical research equipment; and aluminum parts for doors of same equipment.

Strengths: Very good a designing tooling and molding parts using investment casting ans rubber/plaster molding. Zinc products purchased to very high tolerances.

Needs to improve: To best utilize their knowledge base, the customers need to be very clear on what is truly important about their parts, especially with lower cost methods like they offer at General Foundry.

Solid knowledge of casting processes. Staff is very proficient and does high quality work. Be sure to know exactly what your needs are to maximize the service that you receive. Good experience dealing with GFS. Job was completed ahead of promised delivery date.
