Precision Mold Technologies

Their services have played a vital role in the development of products and lab testing. We have used them specifically for neuromuscular moldings that we use to do lab testing of our catheters, guidwires, stents, coils, etc. Their injection mold models have allowed us to do in house lab testing that is similar to real life anatomy and gives us an idea of the performance of our products prior to spending valuable $$$ on animal testing with our interventionists. We have worked closely with them for years and have always had a healthy relationship. Their customer service is always nice and easy to work with whenever i call them. I have no reservations on recommending them to be used in your company. Pricing is on a the pricier side depending on the complexity of the work you are requesting.

This is my personal favorite machining company (and we have access to many), because I have developed several relationships with management as well as their tool makers. They always try to accommodate and the quality of their work is top notch. Wolfgang (the manager) is easy to talk to and always available.

Strengths: These guys have tool makers on staff that have a wealth of experience. You can always come to them with a difficult task and you can bet they'll get it done in a timely fashion and at competitive prices. It helps to have them located a few miles from our company because I can just stop by and talk directly with the manager to make sure there are no misunderstandings as far as requirements.

Needs to improve: can sometimes take long to get your work done, but it depends on how much workload they have at hand so is not really their fault.

Our R&D Engineering ahs been dealing with Precision Mold Technologies over the years for our injection molding needs. Precision Mold has been able to address all of our concerns with respect to: design, materials, process, quality, quoting, delivery times. When you are fighting time constraints it is nice to know there are vendors that are concerned with the bottom line - delivery. Furthermore, Precision Mold Technologies has expects that can address the simple design to complex, they can suggest ways to lower the price - single tools to multiple cavities. Customer service is great and a large reason why we chose them as they kept us informed throughout the entire process, all while offering additional solutions..

The folks at PMT will work with you to make sure your parts or tools are completed quickly and accurately. You can trust PMT with any job, none are too big or small. These guys know their business.

Strengths: Awesome Machine Shop with tons of experience building machines and parts for medical device companies. I've personally used PMT a few dozen times over my 20 plus years in this business. These guys are easy to work with, their machinists are perfectionists and experts in their field. They can typically turnaround complex jobs in less time than most of the other shops in the area.

Needs to improve: I've had no issues in 20 year working with these guys.

Our firm has procured our tools and plastic moldings from Precision Mold Technologies for assembly of our medical devices. We love this vendor. Their staff is super knowledgeable and friendly, guiding you to the best products that would fit your needs. The turnaround time from order to delivery is quick. The products are always high quality.
