Phillips-Medisize

We tried to ask this company some very basic questions to actually create the design centered "around" their capabilities. However, they were not helpful at all. All they cared about was making money. We sent them 2 different designs explaining that we 4 others and we could go in a number of different directions based on what they could do and avoiding what they could not do. They simply ignored our questions and went about responding however, they wanted to. There are a lot of other more "helpful" companies out that that do MIM.

Strengths: They are narrowly focused on medical parts and anything outside of that, they seem to ignore.

Needs to improve: Poor Customer Service

Most of our R&D product development is done in-house, but on the rare occasion that it is outsourced, I have used Phillips-Medisize. They offer excellent product visualization to commercialization management services. One reason they are able to perform these services is due to the numerous branches of medical device development they are involved in. I have also used them for silicone molded parts and over molding with assembly. My parts always arrive in time and in budget. I would recommend Phillips-Medisize for product development services and molded parts assembly.

They had supplied injection molded components for medical devices I have worked on in the past. Component quality was consistent and did not have any issues for the 2 years I was there. The validation work was also quite thorough and could withstand any FDA audit. Granted we had a robust component, but their excellent quality system and quality products made it easy for us to manage their supply and had no headaches from a sustaining perspective. From validation of the molds to consistently sustainable products, I would highly recommend them.

Started working with Phillips-Medisize when the need arose in the company to expand our product lines. We were not prepared to invest in expanding our facilities so we turned to Phillips to complete the final assembly of our product. From the beginning they were very professional and acted as a trusted partner. Their quality assurance process is great and it shows in the final product. They also have a great customer service division which is always there to answer any questions. Phillips has been a great partner and we will continue use them for our assembly process.

We've used Phillips for outsourcing our design work. They have years of experience and plenty of engineering support. We have had a positive experience and have never had any issues with the work they have done. Their expert staff keeps on top of the project throughout the development phase and is very efficient. Our projects have gone smoothly and have met our timeline goals. They have done quality work for us and continue to do so. Highly recommended.

The only room for improvement would be on cost.

The company I work for has purchased quality products from Phillips-Medsize for years. They produce high quality plastic components that are well made. This is important for us, since we manufacture medical devices. Quality is key. There customer service is great and helpful. Turnaround times are quick and shipping is a breeze. We have contracted Phillips-Medisize for injection molds for our ceramic heads for our wands. They added tremendous value by ensuring the tooling / parts meet all our requirements for a completed product. Their staff is very knowledgeable and always go extra mile to ensure we are happy with their services. Our firm has partnered with Phillips-Medisize multiple times for development support of our medical devices, followed up with some contract manufacturing on certain designs. Phillips has been a trusted partner for multiple projects now and they are fantastic. We are able to work collaboratively on the designs as they provide new ideas and a fresh perspective. Their team is very smart and knowledgeable about the industry in general and our products have come out great. Our clients love our finished products and we love Phillips-Medisize!

We ha e ordered some plastic pieces for our medical devices that we build in our facility. They have a wide selection of products they have and will do what they can to be able to get you what you need. They are a A+ in my book.

Our medical office loves, and I mean loves Phillips. The quality is outstanding, it looks beautiful. Just as beautiful as it preforms. Very quiet while on, and works smoothly. I haven't had any problems with them what so ever. The employees are wonderful and easy to order. Ships fast as well.

Strengths: A very huge variety in products, its just not just for one thing. It can work with many different type of companies. Great staff!

We use them for their clean room capabilities (Class 7 and Class 8 clean room facilities). Their engineered assistance support is very good and responsive. Their pricing is competitive and they have reliable services. Their quality is very good. Their technical and customer service is excellent and very knowledgeable. Quotes are accurate and delivery is fast.

When it was just two guys with a great idea, with no knowledge what to do with that idea, they went to Phillips Medisize. These guys helped us bring some ideals to reality and other ideas back to Earth. Very honest straightforward people to work with, they advised us the whole business side, helped us design and produce and got us on the map. A small map, but they helped get us in the know.

The plastic components are well made and can be used in medical device manufacturing. The supplier can be relied on to deliver good products when you need it to keep your production line going. We like this vendors CS dept. They really try to help you out. The plastic molds are for unit housings.
