Iron Mountain Record Mgmt Svc

We have used Iron Mountain for some years. We are not a large entity and therefore had only occasional reasons to interact with the service. Most of the time it "worked" but more recently it took us three phone calls and 2 months delay to obtain just a small number of boxes. The "failure" to get our documents resulted in further charges which they stood their ground on. No apology for the serious delay in access to records which did have a significant impact on the office and our customers.
My impression is there maybe a difference between small players compared to larger or corporate accounts - be careful and read the small print. Overall a "patchy" and relatively costly service for what we experienced.

We have been using Iron Mountain Recording Mgmt services for years for document control. They have created a easy to use system for us to transfer all of our documents from written into scanned copies that are all easily accessible from all the computers in our office. They do a great quality job in getting their copies scanned and office on a timely basis. All of the employees that I"ve worked with from Iron Mountain have been very nice and answered all of our questions. Pricing is kind of on the higher side but what do you expect for a such an important and vital service to the company. Definitely recommend them for any start up or middle sized company looking for a way to organize and centralize all of their documents.

We had an FDA audit and had to pull back our files to review very quickly. They were able to do this for us and we survived without too much pain. We are grateful for their services.

Strengths: Iron Mountain allows our group to be compliant with the federal regulations for records retention. They're always prompt about picking up our files and we are able to retrieve them relatively quickly, if we need anything.

Needs to improve: Having to complete the records forms on paper is a pain. It would be a lot easier if they allowed for us to manage and inventory our boxes in a more digital way. It seems very old school, The boxes are also kind of pricey - it's just cardboard.

Iron Mountain handles all of our document shredding services. The provide us with secure bins which they pick up and securely destroy. We also use their document imaging services. They pick up our old documents that need to be archived scan them and provide us with digital files. This is an extremely valuable service because we have a lot of old validation and production documents that are currently stored as paper. Their services are cost effective and very reliable.

We contract Iron Mountain Record to streamline our operations with regards to data and backups. We previously deal with an abundance of hard copy paper files. They scanned all of our documents so that we could access them online. We also removed all of our hard copy files from our site as they have convenient boxes that they allow us to store papers in, which they promptly remove. Customer service is great and turnaround is very quick. Will continue to use their service.

I use iron mountain to archive client confidential documents and for destruction of confidential destruction of documents. Like clock work, they show up every month to pick up documents for destruction. Their customer service is outstanding, when I need to retrieve a document from storage, I can usually get it the next day.

Strengths: Iron mountain provides reliable confidential off site document storage and disposable of unwanted confidential documents. They have very good customer service and they are always on time.

They provide good record management, have quick turnarounds and are always prompt on picking up our files. They also provide bins for disposal of our documents.

I have worked with Iron Mountain in the past to locate and retrieve stored documents. Their customer service group was very helpful an courteous. Documents were located and retrieved in no time. They now provide digital archives making retrieval even easier and storage even safer as there are backups of all of the physical documents.

Our company uses Iron Mtn to mange our document storage needs. They come several times a month and haul away our unwanted and confidential documents. They provide secure bins to dispose of our documents. These documents are then hauled away for shredding.The staff has always been professional and on-time. We have had no issues when using their services.

Iron Mountain has been very efficient and helpful for storing my records. I know that I can count on them and like their customer service.

Strengths: Great place to store you records outside of the office due to space limitations! These guys are pros at storing your records so you do not have to.

Needs to improve: I have not experienced any weakness with Iron Mountain.

There's a reason why they are industry leaders. We are exploring them as a vendor for records destruction as well and added to our contract.

Strengths: Our company use them to pick up backup media for offsite storage. Always reliable and always on schedule. We've had to do a DR restore and they helped keep our project on track.

Exceptional customer service

Strengths: Our consulting firm produces a large amount of hardcopies due to the nature of our business. Iron Mountain not only provides great record management services but when we had to request certain boxes that had already been shipped off site, they were able to deliver them with quick turnaround. Their service is very reliable.

We have a room full of iron mountain documents kept in boxes at my job. They do a excellent job of managing all your work and great for storing or shredding your unwanted files.

Working in the legal field there are literally tons and tons of documents. We use Iron mountain to store older paperwork that there is no physical space for. They also have scanning service that we are using to digitize a good portion of the older materials.

We used them to archive old documents that couldn't be thrown away. We were running out of space. I believe there was a requirement to have backup in case of fire or natural disaster. They were seamlessly integrated into our system.

The Iron Mountain Record Management provides our company the ability to keep our older but important documents securely in a remote location. They also offer documents disposal and shredding services for documents that are not needed anymore or past their retention period.
