our pharmacy has a membership with lexicomp to use their drug information resource. of all the drug information resources out there, Lexi-comp is one of the more superior holders. they have an app that our staff is able to download and even use on their phones when they are out of the office. although their yearly membership is not cheap and there are more competitive pricing options out there, the level of information they offer is unparalleled. their formulary monograph service delivers detailed information about recently release and investigational drugs. you can either search their database by disease state or drug. their database also covers a complete range of topics including pediatrics/neonatals, adults, geriatrics dosing and guidelines, IV compatibility, patient education points infectious disease and pregnancy/lactation
