Throughout my career I have purchased from Master Lock Co. key, combination locks for indoor and outdoor. Their locks are reliable and dependable. Even when used in extreme weather conditions they still perform. I have never had anyone complain about these locks. They are a great form of security and will continue to be used at the companies and as personal needs arise. I wish every company had the great reputation that Master Lock has - leader in the field.

Strengths: We use an over abundance of master locks ranging from combo to key. we use them to secure everything from chains around vehicles to doors to gates. the product is great the tumblers inside the lock are stiff and more difficult to pick than most of there competition their combo locks have very light springs wich makes them harder to figure as well.

Needs to improve: The smaller line of locks are very weak just a semi hard blow with a hard object and they will pop open.

We use masterlock locks and security components in our facility to lock up equipment to prevent tampering, such as engineering equipment and servers. We've also used a few electrical lockouts from masterlock for circuit boxes and switches and they've worked well. Have had no security breaches so can't say that they've been tested, but having masterlock equipment will probably prevent it in the first place. Can't go wrong and will use again for locking needs.
