Microlumen is our supplier of medical products for years. MicroLumen offers us innovative solutions and aids engineers in the design of very specialized medical devices. Their diversified product line and secondary operations solve engineering problems. Their Customer service is very helpful and accommodating in any of our queries for innovative solutions.

Needs to improve: none
Was looking for a vendor to provide tubing for a new microcatheter and contacted several vendors, including Microlumen, for samples. They sent samples quickly and weren't stingy with them.
Strengths: Great vendor for high performance plastic tubing (e.g., polyimide) when tight tolerances are a priority. Willing to provide samples for you to perform some preliminary testing before committing to a large order.
Needs to improve: None so far.
A Great Company. The best Polyimide Tubing you can find. Customer Service second to none. They have a generous sample policy and a large inventory of stock tubings. I have also used them to for custom tubing with great results. Many times I've called for samples and had them arrive the next day.

A few years ago they were one of the only companies making thin wall polyimide tubing. Now there are several other companies doing the same with the same quality and perhaps cheaper. When I did order tubing from them, I was pleased with they're product.

Needs to improve: They're expensive and have slow turn around.
While we may not always be the least expensive product on the market, I believe you will find our lead times are much improved over your last experience. You may find that our engineering expertise in assisting you with your design and product outcomes is worth an extra penny or two in the long run. We can help you get to market quickly in the fewest iterations by applying our vast experience in the use of our products. Give us another shot. We care about your opinion.
Microlumen is our primary vendor and a top vendor for plastic tubing in our facility, we initially had a rep from Microlumen come check out our premises for consulting services to provide suggestions and improvements. their pricing is fair compared to other companies. their staff is professional, very knowledgeable, and sharp

Truly great customer service, and a solid product as well. I have purchased a ton of MicroLumen tubing in many sizes, shapes and forms and it has always been delivered as promised. Their tubing is the backbone of many world class catheters, and their generous sample policy makes prototyping quick.

I was working on the RF catheter that use polyimide braided shaft. We had high scrap rate for the Polyimide Shaft failed High Pot Testing. Then we used Microlumen as the supplier for our Polyimide Braided Shaft. The scrap rate reduced substantially. Microlumen provided good quality Polyimide Braided Shaft.

I used them several times for polyimide tubing and they generally do a great job. On one occasion they were late and it really hurt the project

Provider ofplastic tubing and raw plastics for manufacturing and engineering use, The quality is good and dependable. The customer service is strong and makes placing POs easy and good follow up. The vendor is reliable on deliveries...

Been using microlumen for catheter balloon tubing and other shafts for catheter products for years. Very dependable and always provide high quality tubing even with tight tolerances.
Strengths: Very dependable when in comes to extrusioneering, good customer service, very good quality products.
Needs to improve: Longer lead time than the usual, a little bit pricey.
They are a a great company for tubing of all variety. They can be very thin and very small if you want it to be. Microlumen has a huge selection for you to choose from. The reps are very helpful and nice!

Our company used MocroLumen's laser machined tubing for our medical devices. They are able to meet our company's custom demands such as custom hole diameters and custom drilling holes. We are very pleased with their final products, and the staff was very knowledgeable.

I have ordered a couple times for R&D prototypes. They tried to work with you on the size that requried for our product needs. They have very good customer service.
Strengths: They can offer tight tolerance polyimide tubing
Needs to improve: Longer lead time than others polyimide tubing makers
Resistant to high temperature and most chemicals, it can handle an environment much more hostile than whatever one might place inside. A measure of care is advisable when working with this tubing. Due to it's diameter, its all but invisible.

They are always willing to supply samples of materials that they have in stock so that I can try them out to figure out what will work before placing a real order.everyone is very friendly

Supplies quality tubing to our R&D group. They provide the majority of our tubing requirements with the wide selection of material and mfg processes to meet the needs of our R&D needs.
