Newegg is a market place, not a vendor. It appears you are purchasing products and warranties from Newegg, but when the products are misrepresented (IE getting a Home version of Windows VS WINDOws Pro on your Laptop), they claim they did not sell it, and go as far as blocking your review calling out false advertising. When you purchase a extended warranty. It is a replacement warranty good for one replacement credit for the purchse price of your misrepresented junk. It refunds the list price of the junk when purchased, not shipping, handling or the price of the plan, which expires once you use it. Again this is through a third party. And Newegg gives you no indication of who warrantied the product or where to file a claim unless you call and ask for it. Expect the same nasty "not our problem attitude" when you call to get this information. Once you do file a claim expect to spend several weeks of being promised a credit in 2-3 day,another 5-7 days,another 8-10 days. The time gets longer every time they miss a deadline. I am currently in the 8-10 day cycle, I am confident on day 11 I will be told another 10 to 15 days. The warranty company (AIG) blames Newegg, Newegg blames AIG, If you put both companies on a conference call they blame the company who sold the computer. Don't bother asking for a manger, they will just put you on hold for 10 minutes and come back with the same answer.

Tip for consumers: Buy from TigerDirect. Shipping costs are highter, but a least they take ownership when their is a problem with quick management response

first place to go for any computer components. can't beat their pricing, their delivery, and the reliability of their parts. I have put together at least 3 systems fully from scratch from newegg, and in that, only maybe 1 RAM chip had to be returned (return policy is super easy as well). Everything else has always functioned properly and been delivered wtihin 1-3 days of order. compare this to fry's where not one single motherboard i've ever purchased there had to be returned a minimum 3 times before i ever got a working one. love newegg and hope they continue to keep this quality up as they have for the past 13+ years i've used them i think by now

Not very happy with my experience with them. Bought an expensive deskt top with them and broke down within months of normal use. Even after replacing the part that they said is the cause of the problem, it never solved it. End up trashing the expensive computer. Waste of hard earned $$$$.

Our company placed many orders for multiple end users and when we placed a cancellation for 1 customer they submitted a cancellation on all orders. When we attempted to call the wait time was over and hour and we had to call multiple times to which they said it would be resolved. Ultimately they cancelled the order.

For the most part it is great dealing with organized online companies. The order process to delivery is a quick, concise experience. It would be nice if the site recommended a shipping speed based on your proximity to what warehouse the items are coming from.

Strengths: Newegg has a big inventory and their shipping is very convenient if your business is in Southern California. Shipments usually come in 1 - 2 days and their prices are competitive. I have used them before for a number different products.

Needs to improve: I never have and will never like the option to pay for Rush processing. Sounds like you are paying extra so someone can read an email faster. Return process could be a little smoother but it is not terrible.

I was recommended Newegg.com as a company I could use to supply me with computer peripherals. They have a great website and it is easy to find/access the correct product you are in need off. for us we need some flash drive and they had a large selection. Not only were we able to make a quick choice, but shipping cost was indicated on every device, so we could make the correct solution. The cart works the same as most sites, so purchasing is fairly easy. The first time requires a setup, but after that it's extremely easy.

NewEgg.com's customer service is excellent and a pleasure to work with. If a part was broken or missing, customer service would issue an RMA, refund, or immediately ship the part out. They are always accommodating to the customer like us. We've never had any issues that NewEgg customer service couldn't fix.

Strengths: Newegg.com has been a reliable vendor of ours for quite some time. They carry a vast assortment of computer parts we need for our business. Their website is excellent and always up at all hours. We've purchased sata cables, power cables, hard drives, etc from Newegg and all have arrived on time. Needs to improve: NewEgg is a ship to business. If you run into trouble and need something same day, obviously you're going to have to find a local brick and mortar store. Outside of the obvious, there's not much of a downside.

Our experience has been great because we needed tablets for our facility and these tablets were great and we also received some software that we were unsure of and when we had questions they were very knowledgable about their products it helped us make up our minds and choose the right products, we were very pleased and will come back in the future also the shipping wax fast and on time as they say.

Their shipping is extremely quick and highly efficient especially when a product is needed in a short amount of time. Their wide selection of various computer components is second to none, some of the parts they carry are often difficult to find even at major retailers.

Newegg has a good return policy just in you need to return an item. They carry a huge selection of computer hardware and peripherals. They accept major credit cards as well as PayPal.
