We contracted Pulse Technologies for their various components and assembly. Occasionally we have to outsource or devices to Pulse to provide the finishing touches. We utilize their specialized capabilities to produce the best devices for our clients. They also look for more cost effective solutions. They're very flexible and dedicated to their job. Customer service was friendly and professional. They kept us in constant contact throughout the entire process. Quick turnaround time and delivery. We were very satisfied with the quality of our components and our prototypes. Overall great experience working with them.

We're a small assembly working on a customized prototype for a client prospectus. We contracted Pulse as we needed a fabrication and contract manufacturing partner as we didn't have the capacity to do everything in house. They were extremely professional and provided design schematics quickly despite the seemingly intricate request. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and were able to offer a plethora of alternatives to save us monetarily and in time. Accurate estimates, quick turnaround, within budget (key) and ultimately delivered a quality product. Trustworthy and happy to do business with again.

We were looking at creative solutions for finishing our product. We looked at a variety of different options, changing the materials, powder coating, paint, electrophoretic, pretty much everything out there. We then saw some with Pulse surface finishes. We were very impressed with the look and the feel, even more impressed with their claim and demonstration about it was a scratch free surface. We went ahead and went with them for our products and couldn't be happier. Our products look and feel nicer and last longer because of it.

We have contracted Pulse Technologies for a few projects that we did not have the technical ability or machinery to complete. They helped design a few medical device prototypes that we were not capable of doing in our early stage company launch. Their senior staff have years of experience and added a significant amount of value and helped us save time and money, and increased our bottom line. A great vendor overall to work with!

We use this contract MFG firm for some finishing touches on our catheters and guidewires. The services we pay for are: the precision finishing and markeing of our wires. The micro blasting and deburing with the electro polishing services add a nice finish to our products.

Strengths: Very strong contract mfg capabilities for the Micro Medical Device Industry. Strong staff of MFG and product engineers and quality systems in place.

Needs to improve: Lead times are very long and thus we have to plan very tight with this company.

Great customer and technical support. They are a great vendor to work with. On delivery is very good.

Note: Pulse Technologies is a Machine Shop and should not be confused with Pulse Systems who provide laser cutting services. I have had great success having my very small assemblies machined by Pulse Tech. They worked hard to make sure that the assemblies worked as intended, and their team worked well with ours to iterate the component and process specs to yield the best assemblies.

Pulse was instrumental in the development of a complicated, miniature jaw assembly for coronary use. Their knowledge of screw machining, and willingness to push the envelope allowed the creation of our product. Pulse machined the components, then assembled and laser welded them in place, providing us with a turn-key solution and taking the assembly and inspection steps off our manufacturing floor.

This service is expensive but we trust 100% we will get top quality components for our devices and implant devices. We used Pulse to supply us with laser cut nitinol implants during the prototype phase. It took awhile for the parts to come in considering they were just cutting them and not performing any additional heat treatment, honing, blasting, or polishing.
