Have used this supplier in some regions as a phone supplier for office phones and executive mobile. Have never had an issue with the service. Mobile phone selection sometimes lacking or delayed compared to actual release, but not bad enough to complain about.

Strengths: Ship products quickly. Customer service representatives are helpful

Needs to improve: Selection of products not as wide as other huge online vendors, but adequate and service makes up for it.

I've always relied on Radio Shack to have all of the attachments, connectors, cords and plugs that I need for my electronic devices. When I've lost or forgotten a charger or need a connecting cord for my iPod to play music in the car, I go to Radio Shack. They seem to have a store in every community! Very convenient.

RadioShack is my first stop when I am in immediate need of resistors, LEDs, fuses, etc. however, there are many times that I find that they either don't carry what I need or are out of stock of what I need. Never the less, they are a great first option.

We use this supplier in some regions as a phone supplier to sales reps. The conveneince of the stores and accounts. The customer service lacks, but the good prices and quality phones helps. No sales rep has ever had an issue with the service!

Easy to purchase from with competitive prices and availability.

Strengths: This is our go to company whenever we need to mock up a working prototype in order to assess feasibility. Nothing beats having an actual brick and mortar store you can go to as soon as an idea needs testing.

Needs to improve: not all electronic parts are available on the spot. Some have to be ordered.

They are the go to guys when we are in a pinch and we need that component now. They have a large inventory of electronic components and equipment. They can also order special components if need be as well.

Strengths: Well they have been around a long time and they have a large inventory of electronic parts and components.

Surprisingly enough, during our transition from Walnut Creek to Concord we needed a few tools right there and then, so our supervisor took a trip to Radio Shack and viola, they had everything we needed on the first trip.

Strengths: They're as common as Starbucks, and offer a very competitive price for the inventory they stock

I use them a lot to get little switches and batteries and knick knacks. I love going there!

Strengths: Great local shop to get those little parts right away. And you can get a cell phone and remote control cars while you are at it.

Needs to improve: not a ton of selection and the staff usually has minimal knowledge.

Strengths: I needed a new battery for my AVSE system, and Radio Shack helped me all the way through. They really made it a point to help me out, and to find the exact battery for my system.

Needs to improve: The selection of batteries was not great.

Radio Shack has struck out the last several times I have looked to them for cables and connectors. Whether a USB to PS2 adapter or a DVI to HDMI video cable, they have let me down.

Strengths: Convenient due to the many stores in the surrounding area. Great audio/video supplies and PCB components.

Needs to improve: Expensive. I had to purchase LEDs for our test equipment at work. The store manager actually told me online websites have cheaper deals.

Radio shack is a good store to found local electronic supplies. They have a larger section on their web sight. When I need small components for small projects, Radio shack most of the time has the part!

When I need a certain electrical component right away I can usually count on radio shack. If I am planning ahead I will order online due to the high markup on their components.

I always went to Radio Shack to get supplies for school projects in a Electronics class. They also had good customer service and it was always not difficult to find what I wanted.

Nice staff but the store is outdated. I think they should rebrand themselves as they are not what they used to be as far as popularity.
