R S Hughes supplies our firm with various electrical components that we need around our plant. These components include wire supplies, electrical insulators, and soldering equipment. They have such a wide selection of products that it can almost seem overwhelming but their sales staff is able to guide us through them all and help us find what we are looking for. All the products we have purchased have never given us any issues and been easy to use / reliable. This is one of our favorite vendors because they are so easy to work with and we will use again in the future.

When we expanded our R&D department we were in need of many different kinds of products. One of which were lubricants for our new machining equipment. For this reason we turned to R S Hughes and CO. They are able to provide great products and great service with quick turn time. The ordering process from their service departments is great and they always seems to have the right product for the right job. They are very knowledgeable in many areas a machines and are able to make recommendations to make sure your products run smoothly. Would recommend giving them a look for your lubricant needs.

We have ordered cable and wire supplies, static control devices, conductive adhesive tapes and various hand tools like electric screwdrivers from them in the past. The Anti-static supplies we use prevent dangerous combustion situations, while we use marking tapes indicating hazardous zones and wires. Electrical and electronic components must be cleaned and maintained to ensure proper manufacturing and functioning which is why we also use the cable cleaning kits, air dusters, cleaning wipes and anti-static cleaners because both extends the life of electrical and electronic components and protects us from potentially dangerous situations.

R.S. hughes is like Amazon.com for industry. We use them as one stop shopping for most of our manufacturing floor consumable needs. They have very good customer srivce to work with you to make sure you are getting what you need and they have a very easy return process. They are actually cheaper than McMaster Carr

I've used RS Hughes as my go-to supplier for any gluing needs. With their wide range of products, they almost always have something that will work. Once, we were trying to improve a gluing process, and they were able to have someone stop by and take a look to try and improve things.

Strengths: Large supply of different types of adhesives, excellent knowledge of adhesives.

Needs to improve: Initial recommendations do not always work. Customer service can sometimes jump to conclusions about what root cause is, insisting they are right, without seeing all the facts.

RS Hughes is an excellent alternative to McMaster, if not better. I can find hard to find items in RS Hughes, and their leadtimes are competitive. Price can be higher than competition, but worth it if you find those needle in the haystack items. They do offer price breaks for large orders. It is easy to order items and delivery is done in a timely manner. They do have minimum orders you have to meet.

RS Hughes is a local company in the Bay Area. They are a great supplier for , Adhesives and Loctite products, when you are not able to wait 3-10 days they can usually get product from one of their locations within a couple of days. Their Internal sales force is knowledgeable of products they sale, accurate quotes, supplied data-sheets, will call or ship - no problem.

We order lab equipment from RS. Mostly chemicals, lubricants, adhesives and sealants. Our RD guys are always trying to find better, cleaner and safer ways to assemble our products. They want to keep it durable and priced well. RS's pricing structure, products and capabilities help us do that. Their customer service is great, very fast and on point. Very happy with their products.

R.S Hughes provide us durable lubricant we use for our motors and equipment. It's easy to apply, odorless, and last up to a year. Delivery has always been on time and they offer a reasonable price for there product. Customer service is great to work with and very helpful when it comes to product inquiries. They have always provided me with the information that I needed.

r.s. hughes is a great brick and mortar store that is local to the bay area. sometimes i just can’t wait a 3-5 days for other companies to ship you locitite across the country, so put in a call to r.s. hughes and pick up the parts at will call. it’s very convenient.

Good quality supplies, a wide selection to choose from, they're durable and sturdy. For competitive prices,accurate quotes and quick turnarounds. Good customer service with representatives that are very helpful and they make it easy when placing orders, even large quantity orders. Deliveries are fast! I recommend this company!

R.S. Hughes has always been a reliable vendor. Over the years I've used them at many startups as our supplier of Loctite adhesives, Erem Tweezers and Handtools and for Adhesive Ultra fine fiberoptic sanding discs. They've also provided us with UV light sources. Its been rare when they were out of stock. Customer service is good.

Exceptional customer service when you have an assigned sales representative. They can provide most consumables for production and have resources to locate development needs for new product requirements.

Used them at 3 different companies to purchase adhesives, tapes and lubricants. It is very to easy use their website. They have all types of tapes available for every application. I have even had engineers drive to Sunnyvale to make quick purchases as needed. They have very good customer service.
