Speck Design

Make sure you have a good working relationship on the project lead. They are critical to the success of the project.

Strengths: Speck meshes a great industrial design with the functional requirements to meet the user needs. They are able to quickly understand a project and start working quickly. Quick iterations on prototypes accelerated the project and quickly produced a solution

Needs to improve: If senior team members are absent (on vacation) the less experienced members are less productive and the timeline can suffer

Provide them with as much info as you can at the beginning of the project.

Strengths: Speck has a great design team with diverse specialties.

Needs to improve: When we used them, their choice of modeling software was limited. That can be difficult when the customer also has limited software choices.

Great people to work with.

Strengths: Great at the whole design process including research into customer needs, industrial design, and mechanical design. They provide great customer service.

Needs to improve: I did not find any weaknesses.

Have a great and smart team.

Strengths: Great customer service.

Needs to improve: Need to be 100% on all the details needed before beginning a project.
