I've used Hunter for 25 years, and I will continue to use them.

Strengths: Hunter has great quality systems, and they are certified as ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other standards, including military. Their customer service is outstanding. No one could be better. They quality of their products is the very best. They provide PCB layout, PCB fab, PCB assembly, and box build services.

Needs to improve: They are not suited for very high volume low cost consumer products, although they have a branch in China that can do lower cost production.

They are part of the Product Realization Group, which offers integrated new product development.

Strengths: They offer both Industrial Design and Mechanical Design. They can do packaging, heat flow analysis, robotics, and nearly any type of mechanism. The President, Mark Brinkerhoff, can come up with a clever design approach on the spot. They are very good at guiding customers to the best solution.

Needs to improve: They don't do manufacturing, but they do have great connections with manufacturing companies.

I good resource. I will use them again.

Needs to improve: Their prices are not the lowest for large volumes.

Needs to improve: Not everything is in stock. For large volumes they are not the lowest cost.

A good place to go if you want an unusual flexible circuit delivered fast.

Strengths: Very fast delivery of flexible circuits. Great customer service.

Needs to improve: I did not find anything negative to report about them.

Check to see if they have a local store if you need something fast.

Strengths: They have a huge variety of common equipment and supplies needed by industry. They have almost everything in stock. They can ship same day or you can pick up an order. They have many locations.

Needs to improve: They are not the lowest cost source. They are best at small volume fast delivery.

They were unable to deliver a custom Teflon tube that they quoted. We had to find an alternative after waiting a long time.

Strengths: they have products you can't get elsewhere. They do custom work

Needs to improve: They over promise at times.

Strengths: Olander is THE local source for fasteners. They have a great range of them in stock.

Needs to improve: Some unique fasteners may need to be found on line

Voler is really good at identifying risks and finding the best way to do a project.
