Vermont gage provides some of the inspection gages that we have on our assembly line for measuring dimension for medical devices such as guides wires, stents, catheters, glued assemblies, etc. They provide high quality gages for us and we have never had a failure. They need to be recalibrated and its easier for us to just higher someone from vermont to come in house to re-calibrate them for us. Their pricing is fair and i'd say comparable to other companies supplies gages for our assembly line. They have been able to provide us with additional suggestions on specially what gages to use for our purposes. The use of their products in our line have improved the precision and accuracy of our inspection team and has allowed us to keep tight tolerances on our products.

Our division in southern Californian uses Vermont Gage Pin gages. Being an Engineer I find that the pin gages from Vermont gage are extremely Reliable and Dependable. They ensure the greatest accuracy for doing dimensional checks with regards to holes, etc... Vermont also offers, Taper gages, Ring Gages, Thread Gages, Plug Gages, Hole Location gages, Accessories (gage handles, box sets, etc...) and calibrations (certificates & COCs). Their knowledgeable sales staff has been a help for our inspection department by providing exact gage sets to meet our requirements.

Strengths: We use VERMONT GAGE products for our incoming inspection, calibration and R&D depatment. The products we use are their Taper Gages, Ring Gages, Thread Gages, Plug Gages, and Pin Gages
on the many medical devices. The quality is very good and the accuracies are per ANSI. Also reliable, durable and dependable. Thus far we have not found any of their gages drifting out of tolerance.

Vermont Gage is a American mfg of Gages. HIgh quality gages at reasonable prices. Fully traceable. When needing quality gages, (Pin & Tread) for our machine shop we will choose Vermont Gage over unbranded foreign made gages.
