Great that Namsa is located in SoCal, sooner or later, medical device companies will need their service. Being in Irvine allows me or the team to drop off and discuss our needs with the Namsa experts.

Strengths: New location was exceptional customer service and response time. Lots of focus on ensuring customer satisfaction. Certainly hope this is continues and being located in SoCal allows for in person discussions.

Needs to improve: Hard to say, but the only thing that comes to mind is that it takes a long time to get final reports reviewed and approved. No different than other companies, lots of QA checks before report is released.

Designing products and processes for the medical device industry requires use of various types of inert gas. Sometimes the liquid form is needed, in my experience, Airgas has always been able to support my R&D needs.

Strengths: Very responsive to R&D needs, Airgas will delivery various inert gas almost immediately and willing to work with you to identify grade of gas. They always have in stock all the needed pressure regulators, tubing and flow controllers.

Needs to improve: Most of my experience was positive except for the time there was a missing cert for the 5 different gases delivered. Took a few days to resolve, but was eventually straightened out.

Westpak performs all the shipping/transit testing on site. Being present during the initial testing with the Westpak engineers save lots of time addressing the issues.

Strengths: Located in San Jose, easy drive to work with the WestPak engineers to solve shipping/transit testing related issues.

Needs to improve: Due to Westpak's popularity, sometimes difficult to schedule testing time to meet aggressisve timeline.

For morning meetings, I always go to Starbucks to pick up pastries and coffee. Lots of convenient locations.

Strengths: For morning meetings, Starbucks has lots of pastry options and large coffee carafe.

Needs to improve: A little pricey on the some pastries.

Had to supply lunch for a group training/meeting at the last minute, called in a 3 tray order at 10.30am and picked up at 12.15pm. Awesome!!

Strengths: Great selection of sandwiches. Something for everyone.

Needs to improve: Although they're plentiful, the nearest TOGOS for me is 16.5 miles.

Zeus is one of the first companies I call for any plastic tubing related needs. Usually on the phone, they can guide me quickly to an ideal solution and/or alternate solution.

Strengths: Large inventory of popular sized tubing. Lots of material choices and knowledgeable sales and technical consultants.

Needs to improve: Prices are a bit on the high side.
