A local vendor we procure on a regular basis, Frei & Borel is a great resource for injection molds and raw plastic materials. The raw plastic materials are high quality and very malleable for us to mold into our configurations. The injection molds we have purchased have also been easy to use and integrate into our system and have saved us tremendous time and resources for us to roll out prototypes on a rapid basis.
We highly recommend this group and will continue to purchase from them on a regular basis.

F&B carries a variety of casting waxes with different melt points, which has been instrumental in creating quick anatomical models without having to draft anything in SolidWorks or AutoCAD and then outsourcing it to a molding shop. Their wax is more than just for jewelry. It’s an inexpensive means for creating in vitro models and marketing demos.

Needs to improve: For the most part, F&B is a great vendor, but if you are planning to purchase a special blend, do plan ahead.

frei & borel carry a large selection of waxes at various melt temperatures that have been useful in molding asymmetrical parts since we can cast models without having to spend a lot of money. they are a good option for the budget conscious. they also carry micro tools that are geared towards jewelry making, but can sometimes also be useful for miniature components.

My company has been using Frei and Broel for their wax for years. we use their wax for our pump motors for our prototypes and molding on our dialysis machines. its very reliable for its flexibility for our moldings and is also reasonable in pricing. they are a local vendor which makes in store pickup and orders very easy.

They carry a large selection of waxes and temperature variants. Frei and Borel is great at molding odd shaped parts since its not costly to cast models. Great for those on a tight budget. They carry tools that are perfect for jewelry making and other small components.

we keep their Wax stored in the lab for our dialysis machines. their wax is very high in quality and extremely reliable as well. their prices are very fair as well. they are also a local vendor which makes picking up orders very easy.

Strengths: I purchased Jewelry and Watch repair supplies from Frei & Borel for 21 years and always received very good service and they always had the items in stock, the employees are always very friendly and knowledgeable.

Needs to improve: The only weakness i can think of is the few special orders were a little slow.

I needed some prototyping material and ordered wax from Frei and Borel. they offer jewlery supply and precision tools for those delicate jobs. I also got my watch repaired by them too.
