Loctite Corporation

We have always used Loctite products throughout our years. We first discovered them for our own personal use. We had a different vendor provide us with lubricants and adhesives for our production. But then slowly the bonds were not holding up to general use. The compenents themselves were good, just some parts that needed to be stuck together were not. That's when we looked into a better product for us, we all talked about how Loctite is awesome as a consumer product, little did we know they had a commercial side to their business too. And their commercial side is just as good as their consumer side. Since we switched to Loctite we haven't had an issue w/ our products, no longer being returned for adhesives fading.

We currently use their sealant for our pump mushroom head assembly. Their sealant helps our rubber mushroom head make an air tight connection to the pump door manifold. An air tight connection is very important to the functionality of our device but it also extremely important for our patients as well. Besides the strong odor during application it's a great sealant.

Strengths: They have some very good sealants and adhesives that work great for all your needs. They are always our first choice when it comes to sealants.

Needs to improve: I would have to say the only thing I don't like about their blue sealant that we use is the odor it is very strong,make sure you use in a well ventilated room or wear a mask it literally will burn your nostrils.

We have worked with Loctite for adhesives in some of our consumer products as well as their threadlockers. We design educational toys and like to use as few parts as possible to bring down costs. We also like to make sure our products are tamper proof so they last longer. We know how kids are and how they like to open things up. We want a build a last relationship with parents so they keep on buying our products. Items that stay intact is better than one that breaks apart in pieces (choking hazard-NYPD). Loctite worked with us and suggested exactly what we needed. Great experience and customer service, goes along with great products.

I enjoyed working with them once we had all the legal papers signed and put away. Working with the technical team to describe what we needed the quantity and the method we will be using. They worked very closely with us throughout the process and helped us successfully utilize there product and not just here you go and good luck.

Strengths: Loctite Corp has a variety of off the shelf products you can buy, but you can also work with them on something a little more tailored to fit your needs.

Needs to improve: Being a big company as Loctite, there is some red tape to get through. a lot of non-discloses to sign and if you visit their facility there is much more.

We use several different Loctite adhesives on our manufacturing lines. The adhesives we used are custom formulations that were developed for our very unique applications by Loctite chemists. Their chemists are a pleasure to work with. They really go out of their way to ensure that they provide us with an adhesive that will meet all of our needs. We also have implemented their precision dispensing equipment. The systems were easy to set up, easy to maintain and easy to operate.

Strengths: Loctite has adhesives to bond almost any material and they can custom make an adhesive to meet almost any bonding requirement such as conductive, pressure sensitive, epoxies, solvent and UV The also provide precision adhesive dispensing equipment.

We contracted Loctite Corporation for their adhesives. They were referred to us by a colleague and after browsing their website and talking to customer service we ultimately decided to order from the. They offer a wide selection of adhesives and sealants. Customer service was there to help us choose the right products for us. They were knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. We were grateful that they took the time to make sure we were satisfied with our order. Competitively priced and shipping was fast. Overall we've had a great experience working with them and will refer to others.

the loctite brand is my number one choice when it comes to adhesives. i don’t normally like to use adhesives since they can be finicky. it is difficult to predict and control its performance, but their knowledgeable staff is invaluable when it comes to choosing the right line of loctite for each application. they also have great customer service for ongoing help as well. loctite is a high quality brand with adhesives for just about any application. i highly recommend.

We just recently ordered the OSI Pro Series adhesives and sealants package.When we were planning on ordering from them we didn't know exactly what we wanted. We ended up calling the customer service and they helped us within minutes. It has done us wonders! The quality of the products is amazing. For what we ended up paying for the products it has seemed to have been well worth it. We plan on continuing to do more business with Loctite Corp.

We use Henkel Loctite adhesive for a product requiring bonding of a pcb to two plastic parts and create a water tight seal. Their adhesive Loctite M21-HP Hysol medical adhesive performed better then expected during evaluation - no failures due to the adhesive bond. Furthermore, we rely on their engineering support for the knowhow able to supply the correct applicator and attachments to get the right amount of adhesive on our product - every assembly time - no deviation in the process.

I have used Loctite in the lab both for securing down support blocks and also for securing screws into baseplates on my dialysis machines for years and they have never let me down. they are very easy to apply and hold tight forever. the bottle sizes come in a variety of different sizes but I personally use the small bottle because its more convenient to store when not in use. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!!!!!

They are consistent and highly reliable process in the validation phase.They are knowlegeable in the critical validation process that medical device manufacturers must undergo to ensure the efficacy and safety of new devices. Although adhesive and material suppliers have no specific regulatory requirements regarding biocompatibility testing, Henkel’s ISO 10993 adhesive biocompatibility program is the most comprehensive in the industry and Henkel has instituted a triennial revalidation program whereby all of our medical device adhesives are retested every three years to assure continuity of compliance.

Loctite has gone above and beyond for our company. We utilize their adhesives for assembly multiple products and each product requires a specific adhesive compound in order for it to work properly. Loctite has been very easy to work with, they are extremely knowledgable about their products and what they can or can't be used for. This has made product development very easy on our end. I highly recommend them as an adhesive vendor.

Needs to improve: Maybe it's a pet peeve, but sometimes they have so many options available, you can get confused when it comes time to identify which product to use. Relative to other competition, there is none. We only use Loctite products, unless there is a very specific adhesive which is manufacture required.

Our small firm uses Loctite Corp as a great supplier of quality adhesives and sealants. We use their adhesives and sealants to repair our medical devices at rework stations on the assembly line. Their products bond strongly and are quick to dry. Overall great results. Their customer service department is also very friendly and quick to solve any issues that may arise. We definitely consider Loctite a valued partner in our supply chain and we recommend to any business!

i use loctite on a daily basses during sub-assembly. I use it at my work station to firmly place screws in various products to finish my task of the day. Its a great product.

Strengths: That It actually does its job its strong enough to lock in screws etc. in its place creating less of a chance of coming undone.

Loctite Corp is a great supplier of excellent quality adhesives and sealants. We use alot of their adhesives and sealants for repairing our medical devices at the rework stations at work. Highly dependable products. Mainly used for sealing our pneumatic valves on the pump assemblies. Puts a really strong hold on the valves with no leaks during the testing process. Overall great results. Awesome vendor to work with. Great customer service
