Strengths: Having one of their catalogs used to be as critical as having the Machinery's Handbook, but now their website is even better than that, and they also sell that Handbook!

Looking for the end of the McMaster-Carr online selection is like trying to find the end of the internet. This place sells everything from screws to urinals.

Strengths: If you want it, McMaster-Carr probably has it.

Needs to improve: You're going to pay dearly for getting those supplies so quickly.

When you need hardware, material, and tools this place has it all, and they ship quickly.

Strengths: Huge product line. They have tons of CAD files for lots of the hardware. Fast delivery. They also can provide ROHS documentation.

Needs to improve: They don't give you the name of the manufacturer.

We use them for our connectors in the medical device field that I am in. They have a huge catalog and good selections.

Strengths: They are a great company with a lot to offer. They have awide range of product and are a solid source to have.

Strengths: Huge parts supply selection. Excellent customer service. Website is easy to navigate. Shipping is extremely quick and reasonably priced.

Needs to improve: If you don't know the exact part you are looking for, the search an be daunting.

If you need it, McMaster Carr most likely will have it. New Accounts get $500 credit limit to start. Order by 8pm and you will often receive it the next morning. As Startup's dream supplier!

They have so many parts to choose from and you can almost alway find something to suit your needs.

Strengths: They carry just about anything a start-up company would ever need.

Needs to improve: You can find similar stuff on other sites for cheaper price and local

Use the search function on the website, rather than the physical giant Yellow Book.

Strengths: Vast selection, product availability, fast shipping.

Needs to improve: I haven't discovered any yet. The website's search function is better than it used to be. More comprehensive datasheets would be great.

We use McMaster for just about everything. If I place an order by early afternoon, I usually receive the item the next day. Good customer service and helpful online website.Good selection of products.

I use these guys for all my knick nack needs. Screws, tools, hardware, etc.. They have great delivery and even same day if you are close enough
