It is a decent inspection system, but other systems have fared better such as Keyence systems. It does have multi-axis measurement capabilities (x,y,z,r) which is helpful.

Strengths: Good inspection system for measuring components. Good non-contact measurement capabilities. Good resolution when it comes to lighting of the part.

Needs to improve: Technical support was disappointing when they came to repair our system. The technician was inexperienced, unprepared, and took longer than it should have.

Micro-vu has provided us with reliable inspection equipment. Very easy to use and fairly accurate. Customer service has always been helpful whenever our inspectors have questions on the use of the equipment. There has even been times when they have recommended an alternative method of measuring parts that we were unaware of. We have never had issues when dealing with Micro-vu.

As other non contact measurement system, the price is high, but we get what we pay for and it is worth it for long run.

they have the most accurate measurement equipment on the market today. we mostly use their measuring equipment for testing purposes in the lab on a daily basis. their measurement equipment is also very easy to use when testing equipment with. the pricing is reasonable and packages are always on schedule as well.

we keep their measurement equipment handy in the lab and use them on a daily basis for testing and calibrating purposes. their measurement tools are extremely accurate and help us get perfect reading results for our dialysis machines. their shipments are also on time as well. A+

We like Micro-Vu measurement equipment because it is simple and no need to get train. We get a good set of data just on first day of using. It saves lots of training time. Any tools that needed to go with equipment, customer service will help you find it.

MicroVu makes very capable vision measurement systems. My recent experience with a higher end system was good, but it felt somewhat cumbersome to drop a couple parts on the glass and take some rough measurements. The ability to automate tedious measurements will most likely more than make up for this.

We use Micro-Vu systems at R&D and (IQC) Incoming Inspection areas. It's easy to use with the measurement software and very little training prior to use. I like is because it is simple and not like other measurement system like the Smart Scope with intensive training prior to use)

These are great digital measurement machines. Similar to the RAM optical system i used previously except much more user friendly. The Micro VU Sol is an excellent product and Is what we have in our lab.

I have used micro-vu inspection systems a few times. They are ok in my opinion for my needs There are other systems i have a preference to.

In the r&d lab we use micro vu's measuring machine for all of our custom projects and prototypes. Its very accurate and extremely efficient and always gets the job done.

Micro-Vu systems are very capable and the ones I've used are fairly simple to use. They can easily calculate diameters, roundness, concentricity and other parameters that are more challenging with traditional metrology.

Micro Vu outfitted us with a complete optical comparator system which included training and a very reasonable service/warranty contract. The system has been in service for a year without issues. Excellent Quality...

We just purchased the Micro Vu Sol measuring machine, a manual machine for our R&D in house machine shop. They also have automated measuring machines.
