Office Depot

I use Office Depot as a good standby for inks in a hurry, recycling my inks (getting a $30-50 credit every so often is a nice perk), and for occasional office purchases (laser jet printer, file cabinet, office chair) during sales and promotional events. Their online shipping, for me, has usually been free and overnight, which can't be beat. Still, their general pricing is on the higher end.

You can use them for UPS and USPS services after hours (although your packages won't ship until next day). Convenient services, but their staff I can sometimes be unfamiliar with UPS/USPS procedures so you may have to bear through a lengthy process.

Strengths: Variety of services- printing, shipping, copies. They offer credit for used ink cartridges. Good rewards program. Lots of coupons available.

Needs to improve: Office supplies pricey, esp. compared to Amazon. They mainly offer inks for desktop printers, not large format. Many branches lack good cs.

Great selection, supply and service

Strengths: We work at a remote office, which is nearly an hour away from the nearest Office Depot. When we need to order supplies, we do so online and using their great website. We are able to review past purchases and this helps us check that we are ordering everything we need. Office Depot gives us a nice discount on our order as well. Once we have the order placed, we are able to will call it at a local store or have it delivered, depending on our needs at the time. Office Depot usually has the order ready and complete when we arrive. They also have a great print catalog which we use prior to going online. We have a dedicated customer service account manager as well, so if we ever have any issues, they get taken care of right away.

Needs to improve: Can be pricey, but with out business discount, it comes out pretty reasonable

There is probably one near your office or house, but know what you want because they will not help you.

I sometimes use Office Depot for office supplies. They carry a huge variety of printer cartridges even for old printer models like mine. I have tried their reprographics services for printing marketing brochures but was not too impressed with the work. The colors seemed a little off and their pricing was high.

Strengths: Large inventory of office products, knowledgeable staff, copying services, great customer service, competitive prices.

Needs to improve: Shelves are not always well stocked

I love it. Everyone was kind and happy to help me out and point where everything is. And it's really affordable too.

Strengths: For an Office Depot, this place is awesome! I love that the employees are so attentive from the time that you enter the store. If you are looking for something and you ask, they walk you to the exact location. They also know their products, which is great.

Needs to improve: Everything is great and they have nothing to work on.

Office Depot has great purchase rewards and the prices are almost always lower than other supply chains.

Needs to improve: The delivery speeds could be a little quicker. Many times only a portion of our order is delivered the next day and we end up waiting a few days for the remainder. Staples usually delivers your order the next day.

what is the difference between the main stationary stores.. i can't tell, which is good i guess, so just go to the one near you. office depot has generally met the same needs when i have been there as staples or office max has. they are all generally good and bad...

I had an account with them when I was working for a small start up. They were very friendly and always had what i needed. I would you their copy services also. They seem to be a touch more expensive than some other office supply stores.

Office depot is the preferred supllier for almost all of our office supplies. There were a few items that we have run into that were not available through the depot for one reason or another but we have been heppy with them so far

Often order supplies from them. They deliver in a timely manner. We use many 3 ring binders from them. They seem pretty good quality and get the job done.

Our company orders our office supplies through Office Depot and they are fast with delivering large quantities of orders, they usually have everything in their catalog, and any back orders are filled as soon as possible.

There are many competitors in this market (Staples, Office Max, Costco, etc.) so shop around and see which is best for you.

Office Depot is the place to go for ALL of your office needs. I goes here to pick up little supplies for my home and work. Huge inventory and good customer service.
