Specialty's Cafe & Bakery

I have to say there are very little issues if any with specialties. The only thing I have to say in terms of choices for fruits, I like to see a bit more variety than just an apple. A mini fresh fruit cup would be great, the box lunch is fast and easy but not very cheap if you think about it so giving something with a bit more umph would make my meal. I have to say, if I had a choice I can't have sandwiches for all my lunch meetings as it gets boring so if they can get a bit creative I can look into ordering them more than once a week.

Strengths: Specialty's is very fast and efficient. They got their orders ready and always on time either for pick up or delivery each time we have used them for our lunchtime meetings. it's real easy to order online or over the phone. The selection is easy to pick from and provides a large variety even for vegetarians.

Needs to improve: The only thing I can say is that they can get pretty crowded during rushes when you walk up in person. But that is the same for any businesses and have to deal with the matter of fact. Come early or call in, you can always pick up your order outside that they setup a canopy just for pickups.

Specialties orders can be taken by phone. Most customers are not aware of this service.

Strengths: The company's innovation and baked goods are its strengths. Customers can place orders using an iPad. Once the order is placed, the customer takes a handheld device which vibrates when the order is ready. These types of technologies speed up the ordering and receiving process thus saving customers time. The baked goods at Specialties are excellent.

Needs to improve: There is sometimes not enough space to sit and enjoy a meal during lunch at Specialties. Waiting for an available seat can be inconvenient and time consuming.

Their service staff are always warm and friendly, and their food is always fresh and delicious.

Strengths: Specialty's Cafe & Bakery's strength is that their delivery service is always on time - and earlier than the specified delivery time. Their friendly delivery staff are very helpful in helping to set-up our catered breakfast's and lunch in our conference rooms.

Needs to improve: Specialty's Cafe & Bakery should be more timely when picking up their coffee carafe's. There have been a couple times that it's taken them a couple days to pick up their coffee carafe's and bagel/pastry baskets.

We always use Specialty's to cater company breakfast meetings. The baked products are so fresh and tasty and the coffee they provide is very rich and full bodied. I can say that the only thing I have to look forward to at 7:00am meeting is breakfast from Specialty's.

Strengths: Specialties has a wide assortment of freshly baked pastries, muffins and croissants as well as fresh brewed rich coffee. They also provide a wide assortment of fresh sandwiches made with high quality ingredients. The can provide catering for large groups with advanced notice.

Needs to improve: None

When ordering small group lunches, Specialty's is great option. The website will let you customize and name each sandwich which makes handing them out a lot easier. Depending on the size of the order, pick up is usually available within 15 minutes. And they offer great perks like free meals with accumulated orders.

I've ordered many lunches for meetings from Specialty's and have always been extremely happy with their sandwiches and their desserts. The two things that could use a little improvement are their salads and I would like to be able to get the food delivered on a short notice. I usually end up picking up the food since a lot of meetings are planned early morning for lunch.

Strengths: Great selection of sandwiches.

Needs to improve: Their selection of salads could be better.

We have used Specialty's quite a bit for noon lunches. Variable sandwiches, amazing cookies, and always more than enough food. By cutting their sandwiches in half, people are able to get a variety of sandwiches and enjoy their lunches. They can be healthy if you want, or unhealthy if that is your desire. But both options are very tasty.

Friendly and fast customer service. Their food is made with fresh ingredients.

Strengths: Good amount of variety. Many locations in the San Francisco/Bay Area. Their cookies are delicious!! They deliver for corporate catering which is very convenient.

Needs to improve: Many of the items on their menu are high in calories. If you are looking for a healthy option, be aware of this when ordering.

The employees there are always friendly and make you feel really good even before the initial bite of your sweet goodness you have ordered

Strengths: Specialty Bakery definitely satisfies my sweet tooth when I'm in the city! There wide selection of sweets, to breads, and sandwiches makes it a good place for a lunch date!

We have open houses for our dental office from time to time. We use Specialty's to cater some of these events and whenever we do, it brings new patients to check out our office. They have always been professional and have provided great food. The cookies are excellent.

They are great for having lunch delivered for meetings. Always on time and the food is fresh.

Strengths: Everytime we order from Specialty's, our group is very pleased with the food. Their cookies are the best. We get the sandwich, cookie and salad platters and it is fresh every time.

We had a townhall meeting and chose Specialty's Cafe to cater our breakfast and coffee with their tasty sandwiches and cookies. Everybody loved the food and some of my colleagues even took some cookies to go.

My experience with Specialty's has always been excellent. All my orders is always complete when being delivered.

Specialty's online ordering system is perfect. It's easy to navigate the site, choose your food, customize it, then save it as a favorite. You can order in advance as little as 15 minutes.
