Steris has helped us to plan and perform the sterile val on our product. They figured out all of the PCD placement details (location & number), and wrote the protocol. Since we are a small company, and do not have a sterilization expert on staff, this has been a tremendous help. The Steris team then held our hands thru the validation and ultimately delivered a complete sterilization validation report that we have used for multiple successful regulatory submissions. Steris has continued to quickly answer all of my questions and have proven themselves a trustworthy partner.

When contracted out with Biotest labs from STERIS isomedix to certify our clean room and then afterwards consult and train our technicians to keep our certification. They were very helpful and thorugh. They wanted us to suceed to they took their time. Going over every detail. Very knowledgeable training staff, they do have a slight air of cockiness, but when you're good you're good. They kept us all in shape and we still contract out with them for consulting services. To help keep everything in line and up to code.

When regulations for sterilization changed we were in need of having to certify our production facilities and this is when we turned to STERIS. They came recommended and we were very satisfied with the process and speed they were able to accomplish the review in. They were very thorough in they review process, but this didn't seem to slow them down. They were great at explaining each part of the process and we came out certified and ready to get back to business.

We highly recommend STERIS Isomedix. They are the sterilization experts and live up to their well regarded reputation. Very thorough which is essential for sterilization services as we use them to sterilize most of our machinery between different product manufacturing. A little pricey, but it is well worth it to ensure a clean, and sterile work environment and equipment which results in clean products.

we have a on-going relationship with Steris for their sterilization. they are a leader in this industry for infection prevention, contamination control and additional surgical/critical care and pharmaceutical technologies. they also provide decontamination with the use of first-to-market products and leads their industry in service innovation. we use a lot of firms for our sterilization needs and Steris is one of our top contractors.

Steris has been a solid vendor. They've always worked with us to facilitate our validation process. They have strong in house knowledge of EtO sterilization and have very helpful with packaging and EtO cycle design to insure our product is sterile. They have also been accommodating helping fit our sterile load in when we had an urgent need.

Exceptional service, thorough knowledge of the industry standards and rules and regulations required for medical devices.

Strengths: Excellent validation team. Works seamlessly with Biotest (a Steris company) to do both the sterilization and the post-sterile validation testing.

Needs to improve: Turnaround time, although quick, is sometimes delayed due to their scheduling. For a start up that wants everything right away, this few week delay may be impactful.

They have other sterilization facilities around the country, so they may be able to accommodate you at another location

Needs to improve: Located in South Carolina, the price associated with the shipment of large pallets of products should be expected when using this vendor

The TechTeam at Steris has been incredibly helpful in providing guidance on the sterilization of our catheter product. They helped guide the sterilization validation process and hustled to get our product thru their process as quickly as possible so that we can get it in the clinic. I'm very satisfied.

They were easy to talk to when we had questions about the sterilization validation for biomaterials. They were easy to work with.

Strengths: they can target +/- 10% Gamma dosage with their chamber for R&D purposes. They know how to work with biomaterials.

Needs to improve: Their Sterilization Validation protocol needs a lot of review before approval.

They have a lot of facilities which can be convenient because they always have ta chamber that you can fit your test units in. The staff is always helpful. The prices are on par with other EO houses.
