I have ordered a number of servers from iXsystems and can say it was a experience all-around. They were friendly and knowledgeable and the servers fit and worked beautifully in my current configuration. I would highly recommend the folks at iXsystems.
Kevin Le has been great to work with. He is extremely responsive and has been able to make adjustments to the projects we have been working on with fast turnaround in order to meet our changing needs. Great service and support.
Working with Kevin and iXsystems has been a pleasure. They take the time to listen to your individual storage needs, intended use, requirements, etc. We were provided with three options that met our needs. Overall, it's been a great experience!

iX Systems Pre-sales was great. It is refreshing to deal with people who are able to understand the technical requirements and are not pushing those high margin BS "services". I which buying a car could be this straight forward.
Kevin went out of his way to make sure that we could get the configuration we wanted at a low price. The servers have shipped fast, direct to our data center, and we've been very satisfied with the quality.
So far so good while we wait for our first TrueNAS server. Both Thomas and Marty quickly identified our storage needs and immediately help with server design and desired performance. No gimmicks, no fancy marketing wording. That works!
Kevin is great to work with for quoting out projects and he doesn't hesitate to point out where money could be saved.
The shipping and packaging is top notch even for very heavy servers.

The IX customer service staff has been very knowledgable and engaging. Unlike most Supermicro VARs IX has their own software products and support available.
They have been a pleasure to work with, helping meet our challenging schedule.

Stellar pre-sale communication, solid products, flexible in terms of custom configuration, awesome response time to support requests. For the last three years, I have only purchased servers from iX, and I don't see that pattern changing.

Kevin Le took the time to understand my team's use cases and craft several possible solutions with clearly communicated pros and cons of each solution.
Strengths: They understand how to shape FreeNAS to meet your needs.
Needs to improve: Limited product selection.
Ok, so I have not bought a total system YET but I will. Customer service is top notch and I look forward to getting my next NAS from iXsystems. They really go the extra mile!!!
From the sales process thru delivery and setup the experience was perfect and what you would expect from a seasoned company like IX Systems. They simply outperform name brand OEMs at every level.
During the whole process from design to purchase the xi staff was very helpful. The system has performed to our expectations and we have no issues for the year we have had it.
Turnaround time was great on configuration and quote. I am looking forward to having this system in our datacenter. Their support is top notch. Would recommend to anyone who has storage needs.
We were looking at a pair of NASs and settled on the TrueNAS boxes from iXSystems. I think the hardware, software, and support combination of this product is hard to beat.
Kevin and Marty are two smart guys(I hear they're handsome too) that I rely on for spending my money on best price per performance in VM backing storage. I've been using ZFS and TrueNAS for several years now and have been very pleased with both the product and the support. Indeed I have had to use the support, and can attest to both the professionalism and technical expertise(thanks Josh).
If I had more hours in a day I would spend it on reading and learning about ZFS, but sadly I don't. As a business owner I need to spend the right money to get the right product and service. The iXSystems service is well worth the price they ask. I've been working with Kevin Le's team for several years now and it's been great.
