Used Mass Precision Sheetmetal to develop a product for manufacturing, by using their expertise for sheetmetal fabrication to produce highly precision fabricated parts. Sometimes their lead-times are longer and their pricing is higher, but they have a great track record with producing high quality products, which out ways the delivery. Furthermore, we rely on their Quality Department for our FAI, certs, and COCs and they are top notch. Thus we do not have to out source for inspection needs. They are a great vendor to work with.

Strengths: Mass Precision Sheetmetal is a very highly accurate sheetmetal vendor. They are able to fabricate the print ideas into a real product. Their staff has a lot of experience with design - able to evaluate and suggest alternative methods to help reduce the overall cost and make it more manufacturable. In addition, they can research/recommend other sources for hardware, secondary operations, fabrication options - welding, pop-rivet, spot welding, brazing, etc...

Needs to improve: The big drawback with Mass Precision Sheetmetal is the lead-times with regards to quotes, sometimes the lead-time can be longer - could be due to being more thorough, etc... The pricing can be higher, but the quality makes up for any price difference.
