Highly Reliable products, Good Quality, Easy to Setup and Use.

Strengths: We have used Hand Help Products Inc. as a source for our hand held scanners. These scanners are used throughout our many departments. The hand held scanners offer us the mobility track our products during test and throughout the manufacturing process, warehouse, and labs. The device is highly reliable and durable. The quality is good and the price is competitive.

High Volume / Low Mix - Price is competitive - Fast to resolve issues - A Lot of Capabilities

Strengths: A global electronics manufacturing company for original equipment manufacturers. They are one of the largest classified as Tier 1 level EMS company around. They offer full service from Total Turnkey, Combo and Consignments. If you are looking for a source to build your products in high volume this is the place to go. Their capabilities are basically endless. You name it they can build it. I have use them in the pass and to build DVD players overseas and the quality met our expectations. Initial start was a little slow but once we gave the green light they took care of business as usual. Delivery was on time and price was competitive.

Needs to improve: It was hard at times in contact with the Program Manger

Good Quality Products - A Wide Range of Test Instruments - Very Reliable and Durable Devices - Pricing is Competitive.

Strengths: Hanna Instruments offers a wide range of industrial products. We purchase a lot their portable temperature and Humidity Meters. The specification meets and if not exceeds our expectations. Their products are reliable and durable. These devices get sent out for calibration every year and always come back in tolerance without any adjustment. That’s very important to us because we need to know and gives us the confidence that the accuracy is not drifting over time. The quality is very good and the battery life decent. I would highly recommend them to others.

Great Customer Support - Pricing is very Good, Acutally Cheap - Professional Staff and Very Knowledgable

Strengths: Power Scientific offers a wide range of environmentally controlled chambers. We have been using their chambers for the last ten years and never had any problems with them besides the typical wear and tear. Recently we have been hearing some screeching noise on one of our chambers so I called their Customer support for advice. Donna their representative directly me to their approved service vendor and quickly made the appointment for the following day. The Technician arrived as promised the next day and was able to repair the chamber by replacing the bearings. Wow, it feels very good to know when you can count on vendors like Power Scientific in times of urgent need to come through. The price was incredibly cheap. Very professional.

Needs to improve: The Call Took Longer Then I Expected For Them to Pick Up.

Very Helpful Customer Service and Good Technical Support - Price Competitive.

Strengths: We have been using their products throughout our different departments. We have not encountered any issue with their product so far. The products are highly reliable and durable. The accuracy meets and or exceeds our expectations. Their technical support and customer service is very helpful and fast to respond. Quotes are placed accurately. Price is competitive and delivery is on time. I would recommend them to others.

Cheap pricing - Quality is good

Strengths: I have order a number electronic components and assembly parts from AVX Corp..Though they have a wide selection of electronic components but it's all about timing with this company. You may find what you need but it may not be in stock. Therefore it's a hit and miss for me with this company. Pricing can be incredibiliy good depending on what you are looking for and if they have it in stock. Quotes are accurate and delivery is ok.

Needs to improve: Having parts in stock

Engineer Staff is very knowledgeable

Strengths: FUJI offers a full line of SMT Placement machine for SMT/SMD/BGA. Some folks call them Pick and Place machines. These guys are the giants in the business. Known for their rotary heads which is capable very high speed pick and place. These machines are incredibly fast. So if you are looking for low-mix and high volume I would recommend them. I find through the years they have made it easier to setup and operate. For you to operate these machines the maintenance is very important. These machines are very pricey but definitely do the job for you.

Performance and Reliability - Good Quality - Quotes were Accurate - Delivery was On Time

Strengths: We just purchased 5 of their new model: MX-500P. Plugged in the units and slapped on the Tips to the wan. Screwed the Wan into the port 1 (Dual Ports 1 & 2). Repeated with Port 2. Turn on the power and got an error message. It appeared that the Wan was not screwed in all the way. It's a little tricky. After securing the wan to the unit, the tip heated up right away. Got my tester HAKKO FG-101 and tested the Temperature (Tip rated 700F +/-50F), AC Leakage 2>, and the 2> ground resistance. All Test Pass with all 5 units. Very Happy. I have using Metcal when they first introduce their first model many years ago and they have always been very pleased with their performance and reliability. I highly recommend them.

Needs to improve: It's a little tricky screwing the wan to the unit - They should come up with a better design.

Wide Selection - Great Customer Service - Price Competitve - Good Quality

Strengths: I have been using Kester Solder for years and they are one of the leading global suppliers of assembly materials to the electronic assembly. They have a wide selection of attachment material you will ever see within a company. I am sure whatever the application you are looking for you will find it. A well-established company that been around for over 100 years old.

High Volume - Customer Sevidev-

Strengths: Our company use a lot of their products such as; Pressure Gauges, PH Gauges, Conductivity Gauges, Display units, etc... We use them throughout our departments for testing, building our products and R&D purpose. The quality has not been that good. We have quite a bit of fall outs due to their pressure and conductivity modules failing. We found out that the Pressure and Conductivity Gauges are not able to withstand the heat for a long period of time even though we are operating within the manufaturing specifications. The modules are sent out yearly for testing and calibration. The lead times are aprox. 3 weeks depending on their workload.

Needs to improve: Lead Time could be better. - Problem for their High Temperture Spicifaction.

Reliable and Durable Machine - Field Service is help and responsive.

Strengths: My previous company use Manncorp for their Dual Wave Soldering Machine. We called it the Beast. The Machine operates 24/7 and the only time it's not running is during the Daily, Quarterly and Yearly maintenance. That being said this machine is very reliable and durable. The software is easy to use and the setup is fast. The proffile can be easily set and adjusted. The operators were very pleased with the machine. The quality of the product produce from the machine is good with minimum rework and touch up.

Electrical Testing of Components - Reliable Products - Full Assembly Line

Strengths: In the past I have worked with a few different models of their SMT Placement Machines. They are a good choice of machines if you’re in the business of manufacturing high-mix low volume. However, if you are looking for more speed, Juki machine has the capability to offer you an option to increase the speed and volume by added another machine in line with the existing. Juki calls this option a Modular Automated Assembly. The design setup makes it easy for fast change over. The software is easy to use and program. The X-Y heads are belt driven which make the machines very quiet compared to the chain driven SMT Machines. Price is competitive but once you starting adding options and can get costly. They have been around for a while and now they are one of the largest SMT placement companies.

Needs to improve: They do not offer a high end fast placement machine.

Thier techncial and customer service is very helpful. Good Quality Product.

Strengths: I used to work for a contract manufacturer (EMS) that uses their mil-spec self-locking fasteners build their products. They were high precision made parts. The self-locking worked well from preventing the assembly coming apart during manufacturing and operation of their system. It's a cost sourcing for these parts but they work great. Their engineering staff was very helpful explaining all the different self-locking types of design and material. I would recommend them to others looking for help finding a source for fasteners.

Good Quality Products - Customer Service is Very Helpful - Reliable and Durable products

Strengths: We use Zephyrtronics for our rework and repair for SMD, SMT, BGA & QFN on our PCBA's. They are a company that offers a wide range of equipment and accessories for rework and repair. We have been using them for years and we are very pleased with their equipment. The equipment is easy to maintain and very reliable. The price is competitive. Their customer service is very helpful in helping you find what you need and placing your order. The order are accurate and the delivery is on time.

Needs to improve: None

Quality is Good - Setup is Simple - Easy to use

Strengths: Our company purchase many products from Symbol Technologies. I have been using their scanner model: LS1908T-1300 Wired Handheld Barcode Scanner. The setup is simple and device feels comfortable when in use. I have encountered any problems with the device yet and have been using them for a few years now. The quality is good and is well built. A very reliable and durable device. I would recommend their products.

A powerful source to assess product compliance, performance and risk to insure FDA regulations.

Strengths: My company use PTC as a solution for compliance in Medical Device Design & Development/ Document Control. For me I use PTC Windchill primarily for my day to day activities such as; pulling Procedures/ Drawings, Training Materials, etc... for test and calibrating M&TE. Most of the time I am able to find what I am looking for but I am sure it's a huge learning curve for me if I were to start learning all the bell and whistle. The system has many capabilities in the areas of product information and content. I am sure it's a major plus for anyone to learn the system as it is one of the primary system that is widely use in the medical field.

Quality is good - Reliable and Durable Device

Strengths: We have been using their Handheld Infrared Thermometers in our R&D Labs. So far we have not encounter any problems with the unit. The unit runs on dc batteries and the battery life can be better. The unit is very reliable and durable. Price is comparable to other Handheld Infrared Thermometers devices. I would recommend them to others.

Needs to improve: Battery Life Could Be Better

Quality and Cost is good

Strengths: I have used Ayala Research for a few of my small prototype runs and had no major issues with them. They were able to quickly take our design and build our fixtures with a reasonable amount of lead time which met our deadlines. I agree with the previous reviews that they can improve on their customer service. They were not as responsive as I would like. Overall, I was satisfied with the cost and quality of the work. Orders were placed accurately as expected and delivery as they promised.

Needs to improve: Customer Service not as Responsive.

Good Quality and Reliable Products.

Strengths: I have used some of their different sets of Dies and Punches in the past. The quality is good and the tools were reliable. It did the job for me when I needed it for my project. No complaints, it met my expectations. Quotes were accurate and delivery was on time as they promised. Price is fair and competitive. If I needed to I would use them again.

Needs to improve: Their website could need some work. It seems like they are always "under construction" on a few of their tabs.

Easy to use and good battery life.

Strengths: We had purchased a few of their portable Digital Force Gauge (Model: M5-100) through the years.
The devices are easy to use and battery life is long lasting. These units are sent out for calibration yearly based on the manufacturing specification and for some reason they are always out of tolerance. Our of out of tolerance ranges are all in the high ranges between Tension 80lbs. to 100 lbs. and Compression 80lbs. to 100lbs. Luckily, these ranges are out of our intended use but it causes us a lot of time processing paperwork to justify why there no effect on product. I would not recommend them if your test specifications are in the high ranges.

Needs to improve: The accuracy of the device in high ranges are questionable. They are always out of tolerance.
