It is a great lab who will work with you as an adviser or testing to support compliance to various regulations.

Strengths: Knowledge of current standards and regulations, cost of service, smaller company.

Needs to improve: Small company means limited resources.

Although I only used them for extrusion, seeing their facility and capability I can see that it can be a good place for contract design and development work.

They were quite good at coming up with a design that incorporates all of our wishes in a very timely manner. The speed of service was great. Look forward to taking this project forward with them.

They were quick with quoting process. The quote was detailed and reasonable.

Strengths: Timeliness of quote, cost of molds and per piece price.

Great place for early stage product development as well as getting product for clinical trial need. May or may not be best place for a larger volume needs. Used to have shortage of quality resources but it's been a while and things could have changed.

Strengths: Small volume sterilization run, turn around speed.

Needs to improve: Quality system and documentation.

If you know the dates for testing it is easy to schedule testing. Customer oriented group. Good place for all the packaging integrity testing requirements.

Strengths: Variety of tests, knowledge of test methods and requirements, consultation for test method development, provides good reports and supporting data, speed.

Needs to improve: Cost, scheduling.

They know what they are doing when it comes to corrosion testing for medical implants.

Strengths: Implant corrosion, material and process properties, extensive experience, reasonable pricing.

Needs to improve: Lead time may be an issue.

Good place to start if not sure who to talk to about the implant fatigue testing.

Strengths: Extensive experience and knowledge with Cardiac implant fatigue testing, understanding of regulations related to various implant regulatory clearance requirement, capacity to do small to large stent and stent graft testing, test method development.

Needs to improve: Not sure how Bose acquisition has changed the original small test lab.

Ideal for those looking for one stop shop for software, hardware development and manufacturing expertise and system that is scalable. Not ideal for early stage companies where cash is limited and need for flexibility is paramount.

Strengths: Technical knowledge in staff, FDA and MDD compliant quality system, project and resource management, project cost and time estimation, customer orientation.

Needs to improve: Cost of doing a project, manufacturing support post market release.
